I've taken our vehicles here for years. From alternators, brakes, major engine work -- it's always done well with a thorough explanation of what the problem was and what the options were.

They did a great job. I have had a lot of work done by them. Quality work. Workers were friendly.

I have been going there for about 15 years. I think they are very fair. I go there because I can trust them. They always look for the best deal as far as parts go.

It went so smoothly I thought I was dreaming.  Fantastic quality service at a very reasonable cost.
This will be my automotive repair go-to place from now on.

Went very well. Replaced timing belt and other belts, did not charge extra labor for each replacement (like bobbi and steves quote, which was over a thousand more since they charged me labor for everything!). Since they were already replacing the timing belt also replaced the water pump and other belts. They gave me a couple options for replacements with different prices, one being a standard kit vs just the belt itself. They seemed up front the whole time and did not charge me any extra. Also did a nice job getting me a used Toyota cd player/radio, they charged me labor to see why my radio was not working and then installed it.
Overall they provide a good service and and are good to work with. Seem honest, everything they fixed is working great. NO complaints.

I first brought our car to another shop for an oil change, knowing that there would be plenty of other repairs the car was do for. The cost was going to be huge, so I wanted to shop around. I called 5 different shops from the top of the Angie's List reviews. Dan was not only the most affordable, but he was the most pleasant to speak with. He was very helpful and didn't hesitate at all to give me a rough estimate over the phone so I didn't have to bring the car in (not the same experience I had with some of the other shops).  
I brought our car to Dan's shop. He was able to get me checked in and scheduled right away. The shop was very clean and neat. He offered to get me a ride home if I needed one (I didn't need one, but I really appreciated the offer). He called me once he looked over the car and broke down all the details for me. He was very eloquent and understandable in layman's terms. He agreed that several of the items that the first shop had recommended should be done, but there were a few that he thought didn't need to be done. It would have been very easy for him to say, "yep you were right, you need to do all the stuff the first shop said to do." But instead, he talked me out of a few items that he said would be fine for a while longer.  
I then told him to go ahead with all of the repairs he recommended. He called me when it was all done. I came to pick up the car and he helped me immediately; I'd like to reiterate here that I was never on hold on the phone nor did I ever have to wait in a line in the shop. I hate sitting in a waiting room.  
He then went over all the details of the repairs. He explained it all very well and gave me a heads up on the upcoming repairs I should look out for and how much time I had left on those specific items. He then rung me up and threw in a free Diet Coke!  
I don't write many reviews on Angie's List, but this was the best experience I've had with a mechanic. It made spending $1500 on our car a very pleasant experience, which is very surprising.
To have the company that is the most affordable of the bunch also be the most honest and friendly is a rare find.  
I would recommend Dan to anybody.

It went really well. My only problem is that they installed the wheels, and I believe they were always out of balance. However I would recommend Penn Auto to any one that asks, they do good work and are honest.

I mainly went with them because I wanted an appointment right away and it was close to where I work. I was looking for independent shop. I called them and was able to go ahead and get in. They did it very quickly for me. It was a little bit more expensive than I usually pay because I didn’t have a chit or coupon but I have no complaints about it because I was able to get what I needed to have it done. They did a perfectly fine job. I won’t use them again because I found somewhere else closer to where I work that I can take the car into. If they were closer then I would get to them. It’s not because of anything negative about my experience with them.

He worked on my sons 2006 Ford Focus. The first time he did the job was Aug 29,2014. The fuel gauge did not work right. We took the car back to him and he fixed it. He had to put in a different fuel pump. He said he dose not use original Manufactured  parts.If you want OM parts you have to ask for them. Next time i will.        

I have known Dan Lennon, the owner, for many years.  He is the only auto mechanic that I trust my vehicles to.  Dan knows his stuff, charges a fair price, and only performs the service that needs to be done.  I recommend him to everyone that is looking for auto service.

They always listen to you. They do what they say. They don't try to sell you additional services. They're quick to get you in and get you out. We've been very happy with them.

Dan and crew are always responive, through and professional.

Prompt and efficient

Went in to have the AWD fixed and the car checked in general.  They recommended a new serpentine belt and breaks.  We did both.  The belt was wrong and squeeled whenever we turned.  Went back, they said it wasn't bad so drive it some more.  Squeel got worse so we brought it back.  They changed the belt the the car has never driven the same since.  On the breaks.  They replaced them quickly but we sound like a city bus whenever we use them, squeeking every time.  Overall the quality and attention to detail is lacking.  I would not recommend them if you want quality work.

They are good. The job would have taken about 3 or 4 days but they did it in 2 days for her. They did it right before the 4th of July holiday. She was going to have to leave it there but they went through it and finished the job way ahead of time for her so she wouldn’t deal without a car for 4 days. They are really accommodating to her. She lives nearby so she can walk home from there. They’ve offered to tow her car if needed. All she has to do is give them a call. Dan is the owner and he is wonderful. They took care of my mom. Their price is reasonable.

I discovered  fluid running down from the power steering unit  . I called Penn Auto Care and was told to bring it in.They found the sector shaft seal to be leaking and had it fixed within four hours.
