I needed a new pair of tires for my car. A previous alignment problem had caused some cupping on the two remaining original tires (the other pair was replaced a year before due to sidewall damage), and I wanted to get the same make/model tire on all four wheels.
I called to check availability of a specific pair of tires. They had them in stock, and were able to schedule the work that same day. I dropped off the car an hour after calling. Phone support was professional and friendly.
The tech at Paul Williams Tire Co. listened to my explanation of the problem with the old tires, asked questions about the history of the vehicle, and helpfully suggested replacing the TPM kit on the wheels. He also showed me, on another vehicle in the shop, what to look for in the future for signs of uneven wear caused by alignment problems.
The service was done on time as promised. The tech called me when the tires were done and suggested for another $7 he would secure my broken engine shield so it would stop dragging. I appreciated that offer of fixing something I'd had a hard time doing right (without a lift in my garage!).
Everything about the service experience was pleasant and professional, AND right in my neighborhood. Highly recommended.

Paul Williams Tire is the best. Harvey and Mitch (the managers) did an amazing job explaining to me what needed to be done and why it needed to be done. They also recommended some small repairs that were not costly but could have become costly if I ignored them. The work was done sooner than they promised. They were a pleasure to deal with. I will return soon.

We called around and found that Paul Williams had the best price for the winter tires that were listed as the best for our car. We ordered the tires from them and they called us as soon as the tires were shipped. We set up an appointment, went in and they were installed. Just a plain good job at the right price.

We walked in, said we wanted new tires. The friendly guy behind the counter showed us some options for our car. We picked one, and the car was ready in a few hours.

They were very quick and, as far as I know, did a fine job with the tires. I should also mention that I ordered tires they did not normally stock, but they got them in a day or two.
My only concern is that they wanted to up-sell me with an $80 alignment. I did it mainly because of the good reputation they have on Angie's List, but I'm really not sure it was necessary and I had a sort of bad feeling about the way they presented it. Might be a good idea to have alignment checked before you go.
I would like to add that it is annoying that here I am helping out Angie's List with a review and the web site INSISTS that I fill in the address where the work was performed and the YEAR MY HOME WAS BUILT, though it is listed at the top of the page! Doesn't exactly encourage members to bother with reviews.

Outstanding experience. Tires were ordered online from a leading retailer that has local "recommended installers"--Paul Williams was one of the recommended installers in my area. Recommended installers are guaranteed to meet superior quality standards and to have guaranteed pricing. They also have delivery setups with the retailer that are very quick and smooth, including excellent email and phone communications/confirmations. The Paul Williams staff were very helpful in answering questions about my tire purchase before I placed my order, and very prompt and courteous in confirming delivery and setting up installation. The mounting and balancing were scheduled promptly, the service done fast, and the price guarantee honored. The service and tech folks were great. All in all an outstanding experience. I also learned that Paul Williams does full-service repairs as well as tire installs and will definitely consider them for future service.

I brought in my car first thing in the morning and they were very prompt and helpful as soon as I walked into the reception area. They took my tire to examine and called me at work in a few hours to say that they could not repair it and I would need a new tire. I could not come in til the next morning; when I came the next day they helped me right away. The new tire was waiting for me and it took him about 15 minutes to complete the work. Overall they were prompt, courteous and helpful and I would use them again!

The work was great. They showed me the places where the Heads were cracked. They Kept most of the old parts so I could see them. And that was the thing i was not happy with, I did not see all the old gaskets and parts. I know they replaced the stuff but I did want to see the stuff.

They were quick and evaluated rapidly they gave an accurate estimate and the bill was what was expected. Quite friendly.

Wonderful. My car is five years old with 64,000 miles on it, and I still have the original tires. I figured I should get new tires before the winter came. Harvey took me into the shop and showed me how much tread each tire had remaining and said that while according to the mileage put on the tires, it would normally be time for a new set, but that he couldn't in good conscience recommend it because I had enough tread to get me through the next season or two safely. So instead he recommended balancing and aligning to prevent further "cupping." Really a great experience. Harvey is a really funny and nice guy and the shop and waiting area are clean and orderly (I'm a female who doesn't know much about cars, by the way). I'll never go anywhere else.

Overall, it went great! Initially, I took in a flat tire that turned into getting a new tire, different story, but it went well also. The car felt mushy to me. They checked the shocks and the rear ones were bad. I got an estimate and left. A few weeks later I called and they could get me in when I wanted and the work was done when they said it would be and for a bit less than I had expected. I took a look at the work and the struts looked "odd" to me, so I went back to ask about it. They took the time to explain why it looked different and how the struts worked. I like these folks and my wife likes doing business with them, too.

If you've never actually enjoyed purchasing tires, then you haven't been to Paul Williams. There's a very good reason when companies don't have to advertise much. Their service speaks for them through satisfied customers over the last 40 years! Their service is superior from every employee there! And they take appointments. No more waiting to have tires rotated when I need to. Not only did they roll out the red carpet for me, they did so for my dog! A few treats, a little couch time. The staff at Paul Williams is fantastic! Initially I went there for new tires but they've been doing all my car's routine maintenance and repairs for the last two years. They explain what the problem is clearly and they are prompt. It took me a long time to find a repair shop that didn't make me feel like I was getting ripped off. My car is just about to roll over 100,000 miles and I'm confident it will go another 100,000 miles if I keep going to Paul Williams.
