Process started the end of June 2016 and is still not completed 8/15/16. The steps are not completed, I have made repeated attempts to contact and receive sporadic responses with new timelines and the work is not done. Now, not getting responses anymore.

Not good. The steps are over a pump area in the basement. The cement on the bottom didn't cure properly and got crumbly. I called Patrick and he said everything was okay, and he resisted coming to look at it. I called him a number of times. He finally came out., when he saw it, he came back the next day and removed the loose concrete. Now, we have a crack outside that goes up the side and across. We also have other cracks and he won't come to fix them. It's been about 4 weeks since my last call and he hasn't returned the call.

He poured the slab twice , The first time , when I shut my overhead there was a two inch gap on both ends of the overhead /Concrete not level . The second time he was 1 or 2 inches shy on the width and length ( not square ) I lived with it . I had to install a 2/6 on the sill's of the garage so it would hit the concrete . He framed in the glass block windows with green treated wood and didn't fasten the framing to the basement window opening , He applied mortar to the green treated wood and glass block windows that cracked within a month after they were installed . I could see light on the side of the windows . There are problems to this day with the windows , I asked him to come over and take look shortly after they were installed . I was reminded again when I shut the window the other day .

We had used Patrick a few years ago to do our front steps and sidewalk. So after getting our garage put in last year we found we had a new lake when the snow melts and the lake is right by the garage door that people go in. so Patrick graded the sidewalk so that it flowed away from the door so that it could go down the slope of the yard. He was in and out in one day. Had to come back to remove the frame the next day but that's minor. With the major rains in June, we are pleased with the work and will hire again. (we want a patio)

I had a basement fireplace installed after the house was built. The
fireplace consistently caused spring water intrusion in the basement
years after the installation. I figured out the issue but could not
resolve it from inside the house. Patrick had the dirt dug out for the
meeting point of the fireplace to the basement block all the way to the
footings. He cemented up a gap and sealed it. We are over one year
later and there has been no water coming in from the fireplace even in
an excessively wet year.

Service went terrible. The apron leading to the garage and driveway all slop into my garage, so water flows into my garage. When it rains or snow melts I have a pool in my garage. In the winter time when the water freezes I have an ice rink in my garage. I have tried numerous times to get in contact with him to get the problem resolved. He never called the city inspectors out for a final inspection. I called them and they stated that this job will not pass inspection until it is corrected. I took him to court and he was a no show. The judge ruled in my favor. I have filed claims so that the provider will show up in court. The state informed me that he was not licensed by the state. I will have a bench warrant issued by the court for his arrest. I also have tried to have the sheriff office serve him papers as well with no success.

They did a good job. They took a little while to get here but they communicated fairly well. They cleaned up after themselves quite well. I didn’t compare price on that.

In over 25 years of property ownership, I have never hired a more disreputable company. Within days of repairing our property, his material began to crack, separate, and crumble away from the patio surface. Within one week the patio looked far worse than before the project was even begun. We have called and emailed Patrick Baxter numerous times to have him come to the property to see how the job has failed and to find a solution to correct the deficiencies in his workmanship, but he has not returned any our requests. He has even failed to respond after formal complaints were logged with the Better Business Bureau and the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry. I understand now why he demanded immediate payment upon completion of his "work"....he knew his product was no good and that it would not last. Do not hire Patrick Baxter Concrete & Masonry under any circumstance....you'll just be throwing your money away.

Very pleased with the overall experience. We managed to preserve and re-use the existing iron railing which was not something the others quoting the job were willing to do.

It went very well. He came over the day I called him for an estimate, and then was able to start the job less than a week after I gave him the go-ahead. The whole thing took less than a day and it looks great. It rained the day after he put it in and I had no water in the basement. Very fast, very reasonably priced, and quality work.

Working with Patrick and his crew was great. Fun hardworking guys. On time each day (in and out times) and cleaned up before leaving each day. Final bill came in under the estimated cost(s).

Patrick was a pleasure to work with. He worked well with other contractors doing addtional work on the home and met timelines established to make overall project stay on schedule. His crew members were also polite and hardworking indiviguals. The estimate given prior to work being completed was acurate and he came in right on budget.
