It was a little difficult to pin down a start date, because this is a two-person operation. But once a firm date was given, Jack arrived on time, and the work was performed promptly. Everything was done as expected, and clean-up was everything one could hope for.
Additionally, I enjoyed getting to know Jack during the work, and found him to be a genuinely interesting person. However our conversations did not disrupt the work-flow. The job was completed within a reasonable time-frame.
At one point during the process I did ask for a change of color for the woodwork in one room. The change was made promptly, and the additional charge was extremely reasonable.
Sometimes when you go with the low bid, you get substandard work. That was not the case. I couldn't have asked for a better job. If finances permit, we plan to hire him next year for some additional work on our house.
