clock repair
 + -1 moreHORRIBLE experience. Found the website online: http://www.clockrepairbypj.com/main.html?src=%2F#1,0 which is changed as he now "works" out of his house. Dropped the anniversary clock off beginning of December. Called for update just before Christmas. Went to voicemail. He called me back saying, "Don't call me; I'll call you when it's done." Christmas went by. Called and emailed repeatedly until MAY of the following year. Finally cornered his wife on the phone. She said he has hand problems and could no longer repair clocks. I have sympathy for his condition, but he NEVER contacted me back to pick up the clock. I was able to pick it up the day after I got ahold of her. Then I rushed it to a different clock repair establishment that seems infinitely times more professional. Anticipate having it finally fixed in time for parents' wedding anniversary. Thankfully it sounds like he's closing up shop permanently so no one else will have to have this experience.
Description of Work: None. 5 months, and he never touched the clock. Which ended up being a blessing.

 + -1 moreSHOWED UP AT OUR HOUSE OVER 4 WEEKS AFTER OUR INITIAL CALL, NO ESTIMATE WAS GIVEN. WORK WAS DONE AS IF IT WAS IN PREPARATION FOR AN ESTIMATE, THEN A BILL WAS PRESENTED FOR PAYMENT. PRICE SEEMED VERY HIGH GIVEN THE TIME SPENT.
Description of Work: PATCH JOB TO GET OUR CLOCK TO BARELY WORK.
