I decided to replace both torsion springs and North Country had a good price to come out and do the job. At 4:30 in the afternoon, they were able to schedule it for the next morning (it wasn't an emergency). I was concerned when the technician looked at the job and said it could be trouble, but he figured out a way to make it work and the "trouble" didn't cost me anything extra. He lubed moving parts and even secured my loose garage door switch! I'll call North Country for all my future garage door needs.

Steve (sales) was knowledgeable and friendly answering all my questions and giving me options that fit my budget. Casey installed the door in single digit temps without complaining. Again friendly and professional. I highly recommend them if you need work done. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again. Nice job guys!

Steve was very responsive and gave me some suggestions over the phone to try and fix the issue first without a service call. While it did help, it also needed more diagnosis. Steve was great and came out within 2 days and fixed the problem.

We have received service from this company for years and have always been extremely satisfied. Most recently we had a new garage door installed. It was a hassle-free experience . In the past we have had an opener installed and a door spring. We had the spring replaced AT NO CHARGE years later when it broke. A great company to work with.

Steve was great! He worked around our schedule and even was able to come earlier than we discussed as we forgot about another conflict we had. He replaced and upgraded the torsion spring on our garage door, and gave the door system a good tune up including lube and tightening bolts, and checking out all the moving parts. He was very helpful and informative and made me aware of good maintenance practices and made me aware of what work might need to be done in the future. I would highly recommend him to anyone else.

This company has been doing work for me for a long time. I am completely satisfied that what he says is what it is. Honest, reliable, careful, knowledgeable, respectful, fair pricing. Today they put in a new garage door opener for me. Very nice job, as usual. Steve has "babied" the old opener for me until he finally advised it was time to replace it. We wanted 12 garage doors to be exchanged and met Steve Anthony from North Country Garage Door for an estimate. He made the most affordable offer, even though we did not use the cheapest garage doors. He and his partner even fixed the door frames for us. The work was done in time and in top quality.

The vendor came the same day as called. The broken spring was replaced along with the spring on the other side to keep both sides consistent. The door was checked for best operation and adjustments were made as necessary.

We called a competitor that we had a coupon for from Valupak-then I remembered my subscription to Angie's list - they came out next day and they were half the price as their competition. My husband said that a neighbor saw their truck in our driveway and came over for an estimate also. Would call them again in an instant!

Prompt call, Steve got out the next morning to determine work needed- good explanation of what they tested, how work would be done, Casey did work the next morning. Looks good, seems to work fine.

Very happy they were able to come out same day to fix our broken torsion spring. Since this was pretty standard work, they were able to give us a quote over the phone, which I also appreciated. Steve made it out within a couple of hours of me contacting them. He explained what he was going to do and answered some questions I had about our garage door opener. Nice guy, professional, fast, and cared about his work.

I would use them again. They do both garage door and garage door openers. They fixed that in the past and replaced it years ago. They respond well. They are polite. Their prices are competitive. They do good workmanship. There was an error made in the replacement of this garage door. They returned and fixed it in less than a week. I have no complaints about them.

Steve was great! He came out and gave an extremely reasonable price for the installation of new tracks/ the garage door/ and garage opener. He was pretty quick on installing everything. It was nice to see someone who took the time to clean up after himself and spot clean the door so there were no hand prints when he was done. Steve clearly takes pride in his work and is really nice as well. I would definitely recommend North Country Garage Doors to anyone who needs this kind of work done. Thanks again Steve! They came and installed a new garage door for me. The door had to be ordered, so there was a 2 week wait on it, but it came right on time. He installed it perfectly and quickly. Its working great now, no leaks at all.

Garage cable broke on early Saturday afternoon. Called Steve and he was pleasant to talk to. He was able to come out within 30 minutes. Upon punctual arrival, he talked to me about what he needed to do. At the end of the service, he showed me the work and clearly advised me on future issues that might crop up given the age of the doors and hardward types. Got an over 55 discount too!

Steve is noteworthy because he offers the least expensive option as part of the repair discussion. He offered to mail me new remotes to save the cost of a service call. I chose the service call and check up. When the same motor threw a gear a month later, he offered to buy back the new remotes if the opener needed to be replaced. We replaced the gear and not the unit. But, If the opener still went bad, he said, he'd waive the service call fee. He understands that building repeat business serves everyone better than simply going with the simplest, swap-out solution.

It went perfectly. Steve arrived right when he said he would and was ready to work right away. He replaced both torsion springs, lubricated everything & then checked our garage door opener & gave it a little fine tuning without charging us extra.
Steve is very pleasant, professional & efficient--I was back to my place of work within the hour and have confidence that everything was done right.
