NOLAN SEWER SERVICE

These guys were great. The whole thing was done a couple hours after I called. Having water in my basement really messed up my Sunday, but they fixed it really quick. Fair pricing, absolutely will call again.

Used this service for over 20 years.  Great quality.  Warrantied to come back if not satisfied.  Was unsatisfied only once and Ross was back the next day to make it right.  Very honest and hard working individual.

It went very well. He was on time, very professional. Ive used him in the past and was happy to see him on Angie's List.

I have never owned a home before so I never had any of these problems until now. It started to back up a couple of days ago and I called him and he told me that I wasn t under warranty because my pipes were old. I asked him if he could come out and make a bigger hole for half price. He said no that I would need my to have my basement dug up to put in a four inch pipe. I had knee surgery and I wasn t really doing any laundry so I didn t know how much water my sewer would accept. When I did a load a couple of days ago, it all backed up. I asked him why didn t he tell me that when he was here. This was all in July. I was down in my basement on the phone and I said this is the first time I ve been in my basement in six months without standing in water. I did a little laundry and it all backed up again. I m standing in about three inches of water after I just laid all new rugs. I called him two nights ago and he thought that I wanted to hire him for a job. I told him that he had already been out here on July 29th. It took him a while to register who I was and he started yelling at me. He said that I m fortunate that I didn t have a collapsed pipe. I asked him if he could come and clean it out again. He told me he would for another four hundred dollars. I have no warranty with them. I got a senior citizen discount. He was ok. He was down in the basement sitting in a puddle of crap and he was down there for about three hours. I went down there to see if he wanted water or anything. The only thing I didn t like was that he had taken one of my antique medicine cabinets and had it sitting in all the sludge using it as a foot stool.

He has been very good. He is a very friendly and professional guy. He is very clean and he is good at cleaning up after himself. He is good at explaining what he is doing.

He came the very next day after I called him... all the way to St. Paul from Bloomington and right after a heavy snow. He was very nice and provided education. He gave me a 10% discount for multiple jobs.

HE CALLED ME BACK IMMEDIATELY AND QUOTED A PRICE FOR 90 MINUTES OF WORK AND AN HOURLY RATE BEYOND THAT. HE ALSO MENTIONED A PRICE CHANGE AT 100 FEET OF DRAIN CLEANING. THE GENTLEMEN ARRIVED THE NEXT MORNING ABOUT 30 MINUTES EARLY WHICH HAS GREAT. HE CLEANED THE DRAIN, WHICH TOOK ABOUT 75 MINUTES. HE DID A VERY THOROUGH JOB. HE CHARGED ME $100 OVER THE 90 MINUTE QUOTE BECAUSE HE SAID THAT THE LINE WAS 105 FEET AND THAT LONGER LINES TAKE LONGER TO CLEAN. BUT IT ONLY TOOK 75 MINUTES. I PAID THE FULL AMOUNT BUT DID NOT FEEL GOOD ABOUT THE TRANSACTION. WOULD NOT HIRE AGAIN FOR THIS REASON.

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. MR. NOLAN PROVIDED ME WITH A COMPLETE WALK THROUGH OF WHAT HE WAS DOING AND HE SHOWED ME WHERE THE TREE ROOTS WERE IN THE LINE. I FELT INFORMED ALL THE WAY AND I PAID A FAIR PRICE. MR. NOLAN ALSO OFFERS A DISCOUNT FOR YEARLY CLEANING.

ROSS NOLAN CAME RIGHT OUT THE DAY I CALLED, EXPLAINED HIS PROCEDURES AFFABLY WHILE HE WORKED. SERVICE WAS VERY PROMPT AND COURTEOUS, AND THE PRICE WAS FAIR. HE DIDN'T TRY TO SELL ME ON SERVICES I DIDN'T YET NEED.

ROSS NOLAN, THE OWNER, RETURNED MY CALL WITHIN 10 MINUTES AND WAS AT THE DOOR READY TO WORK 20 MINUTES LATER. HE GOT RIGHT TO WORK AND EXPLAINED WHAT HE WAS DOING AND ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT THE HISTORY OF THE HOUSE AND OUR USAGE. BEING A NEW HOMEOWNER, I HAD MANY QUESTIONS ABOUT HOW WE CAN KEEP OUR PIPES 'CLEAN' AND WHAT WE CAN DO IN BETWEEN PROFESSIONAL CLEANINGS. HE WAS VERY HELPFUL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE AND GAVE A DISCOUNT FOR MULTIPLE SERVICE.

I WAS IMPRESSED AFTER THE FIRST VISIT WHICH WAS TO SNAKE THE FLOOR DRAIN IN THE LAUNDRY ROOM. THE PROBLEMS WITH THAT DRAIN CONTINUED AS MR. NOLAN WARNED THEY MIGHT, HE WAS RIGHT AND I CALLED HIM BACK TO INSTALL A BACKWATER BALL WHICH HAS SOLVED THE PROBLEM. DURING OTHER REMODELING, PROBLEMS DEVELOPED WITH THE KITCHEN DRAIN SO I HAD ALL THE PIPES SNAKED. IT IS AN OLDER HOUSE SO THIS WAS TO PREVENT FUTURE PROBLEMS. MR. NOLAN RESET THE JUST INSTALLED KITCHEN PIPES TO FIX THE JOB THE CONTRACTOR HAD DONE AND TO MAKE THE PLUMBING WORK BETTER. NOW I HAVE PEACE OF MIND THAT THE PLUMBING WON''T LEAK. WOULD DEFINITELY HIRE NOLAN SEWER SERVICE AGAIN!!!
