Nicollet South Apartments

There was a huge infestation of carpenter ants and I contacted the apartment owner and I was told that she was very busy and that she needed a week to get to it. She never got back to me and I told her that a week wasn't acceptable and that there was nothing she could do b/c there was too much going on that week. I told her that it would only take a quick call to the pest control company and she said she couldn't do that and I would have to wait. Orkin told me to ask her who her pest contract was with and she said she didn't use one, only that she used only when necessary. She did let me out of the lease early though. The owners daughter was responsive to my needs, but not the owner. I called the city of Bloomington and talked to the department of inspections who came out within a few hours to inspect my apartment, the grounds, and underground garage . The inspector spoke with the owner and she reimbursed me for the extermination that I paid for.
