HorrIble, he didn’t do all the work we agreed on, then got rude and argumentative, when I found items broke and then later taken from my property. He eventually sued me and we went to court. He didn’t show up when he said he would ( multiple times) then randomly shows up to do the work one morning. He will charge you travel costs even if you are in the zone of the Groupon. Also his idea of onsite clean-up is where ever the branches fall. Also He is changing his company name so be careful dealer by with Darrin. Avoid at all cost

I got the company through groupon. It was terrible.

We bought a coupon on Crowd Cut.  For $150, they said they would provide 3 hours of tree trimming.  It was 3 hours of one person's time of one hour of 3 peoples's time.  We had some branches that were hanging over our house that we wanted trimmed back, so the 3 hours should have been fine. We scheduled the appointment 6-8 weeks before the appointment on a day my wife would be home.  They said they would be there between 11-2.  My wife had an appointment in the morning, so it should have been fine.  They called us both at 9:30 saying they would be there in 20 minutes.  My wife spoke to them and told them we only wanted the branches that were hanging over the house to be trimmed and whatever they could do in the 3 hours we had purchased.  They told her it practically takes that much time for them to set-up and that it would be another $150 for them to perform the work.  We did not have very many branches hanging over our house and they were not very big.  One of the changes they listed on their bill was a "standard" fee of $100 for clean-up and they still left debris on our deck.   This was a bait and switch and I would not recommend this company.

This was the worst service I have EVER purchased through Crowd Cut.  Please please read my review and think twice about ever using this company for any service.  They were terrible.  They told me directly that they would trim the tree and pull a few shrubs in the stated hour.  I came home and the only thing they did was trim our tiny tree (which is seriously maybe 3-5 years old) that needed minor shaping (and I honestly could not tell it had even been trimmed).   I was so disappointed I contacted the company only to be told to call back after 7:00 pm to speak to a "John".  I called back and left a message and received a call back from the owner.  He was incredibly confrontational, argumentative, disrespectful and condescending to me over the phone.  He told me they were "doctors" and if I could tell him what some word meant in the tree trimming business he would refund my money.  I told him I would take this up the chain and dispute the fact that they did not do an hours worth of work and he told me "good luck with that" and hung up on me.  Again, please do not use this company.  They do not deserve your money.  We are currently disputing this $150 charge with our credit card company.
