Natural Creations Landscape

We used Natural Creations for both hardscaping as well as plantings. We had received other bids, and their bid was neither the most expensive nor the cheapest; but they were a young company referred to us by a friend of our contractor.   Mr. Midura and his partner are very personable hard working young men. While we quickly understood that plant material and design wasn't their strongest abilitiy, we did have the impression that they could handle the extensive hardscaping that our project required. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The entire project was a series of errors which included: a poorly laid bluestone patio that had to be reset--and ultimately shifted and sunk after only one season; and, a retaining wall where one section collapsed into the street and in other sections lost batter and shifted over 15 degrees.  After an attempt to resolve this situation with the least expense all around, we had to take legal action and, as is the case in these types of situations, no one came out the better for the experience. They lost money. We lost money. It was a mess all around.
We feel badly.  But mostly we feel that it took 18 months to resolve a mess that shouldn't have happened in the first place.

I called and spoke with Mr Midura on a Friday afternoon to see if his company could come out to give us an estimate on some drain tiling in our yard as our yard slopes down toward the house and there has been some settling on that side of our house/garage.
Mr Midura was very nice over the phone and was able to explain what services he could offer and if what we needed was not quite what his company did, he would provide references to other companies who might be more appropriate. He said he would call and stop by the following Monday or Tuesday. I never heard back from him so I called on the following Friday to remind him that he was going to call and stop by at some point.
He apologized for forgetting and said he would send out a couple of his guys the following week. Two of his guys did show up the following week in the morning and they did call first, which was nice. They took a look at our situation and said they would write up an estimate, if appropriate, and get back to me.
Now, nearly two weeks later I've heard nothing. As far as I'm concerned their lack of responsiveness is very unprofessional. I will not do business with these guys in the future nor will I recommend them to others.

They were very professional in how they worked around the house.  It was quite impressive. We've worked with several companies over the years.  These guys are by far the best.
