The guys that work at Mueller have been friends for many years. They were flexible with me as I have two dogs. They were helpful to me as far as selecting the kind of door I wanted and then also they had suggestions for the trim color.
I didn't realize how painstaking it can be to install a door. The guy who did that was excellent. My doors close and open perfectly. The doors are so much heavier than what was originally installed in my 50s house, so, it just speaks quality.
Mueller did some extra things for me that I did not get charged for, which they didn't have to do but they did it. I had replaced my windows awhile back and I had some of the old ones in my basement. I brought them up to the garage and the guys took them away for me. That was huge to me. A great help.
Oh one other thing that is important that they were great about. They showed up every day. In other words, they started the job, and finished it. I wasn't sitting with a torn apart house and nobody showing up to work on it.

Steve Mueller gave us an estimate first for the remodeling of 3 rooms on first floor. He impressed us in that he showed up on time, on the day he said he would be here. We had 3 construction firms that didn't show up at all! We had 2 other bids and accepted Mueller Construction,s.

Steve actually listened to what we wanted to do. This was our 4th house remodel and we had some ideas of our own. He totally listened, gave great advice. He has a good aesthetic eye. Gave us advice on some things we wanted that he thought wouldnt' work but did what we wanted if we insisted. Saved us time and money.

Steve and all his workers were a pleasure to work with. They were on time. They were courtious. We had three young children and a large dog at the time and we all were able to get along. We had workers in the house for 6 weeks and had no "horror stories" to tell.

Would definitely use them again. Actually had an estimate for 2 more bathroom remodels but have children in college and can't afford it at this time. Will do it in a few years.

Went great. Steve is a pleasant person to work with. His advice is very helpful and he has a good sense of design. His subs show up on time and do great work. Things are explained in advance and if you have questions you get candid accurate answers. Excellent attention to detail.

He's worth the extra money! Does excellent work, professional, and gets the job done right. Very nice to deal with.

Greg and Roger did an absolutely beautiful job of carpentry and were able to make things look consistent despite our house's many idiosyncrasies. Their knowledge and expertise in working with older construction in South Minneapolis was invaluable. They got the job done right and we are so pleased. The house hasn't looked this good in decades!

We were pleased with the outcome of the project. It was a high quality job and the contractor was easy to work with. He was flexible and responded to our questions.

We were referred to Mueller Construction by our exterior painting contractor (an Angie's List referral) to replace some rotted windowsills and remove and replace cedar shakes on a shed dormer. Steve Mueller was very responsive to our needs, his prices were reasonable, and he performed the work promptly and professionally so that our exterior painting could be completed. We would not hesitate to use him for another project.
