I would never use this company again. If you need addition backup work. High pressure sales that take advantage of your situation.

Everything when dry well. Tyler was on time. Review the options with me. I selected one and he got his equipment and went right to work. Got job done quickly. Cleaned up and was on his way

Had a VERY hard-to-fix break in the sewer line. Sam and Stephen figured out a workable solution. They were very informative and helpful and showed me what was being done at each stage. I am very happy with the work that was done. If you have a sewer line problem, this is the team to call!

I would absolutely use this company again. I had them come out to take a look at my shower plumbing as my pipes froze with the cold weather. Dennis came out and started his diagnosis by removing the shower handle cartridge as he thought that could be the issue. After doing this and testing the shower he diagnosed that I probably had a pipe freeze in the garage. Dennis recommended either putting holes in my ceiling to locate the pipe, which was costly, or try heating the garage with a space heater and see if that helps. I decided to do that and give them a call if it didn’t work. As Dennis completed his work he said he was not going to charge me anything as it didn’t feel right to charge me when the problem wasn’t fixed by him....who does that these days? I’m glad to say that after a few hours, my shower is now working! So glad I chose this company to come out and look at my shower. They saved me a ton of money!

Mr. Rooter (Minneapolis, MN) was recommended to me as a preferred plumbing vendor for Renter's Warehouse, my property management company. In March of 2017, I commissioned Mr. Rooter to address a leaking jacuzzi tub and leaking kitchen faucet. The jacuzzi tub required extensive and expensive re-work as it continued to leak after it was deemed fully repaired by the Mr. Rooter technician. This need for rework was only flushed out by the general contractor who requested my tenants test the tub prior to him installing a new ceiling, drywall, and flooring that were all damaged by the leak. Thank god for the diligence of this general contractor and his wariness of the plumbing "fix". Fast forward to this week as I receive the results of a home inspection and learn that my brand new, Mr. Rooter installed kitchen sink, sold to me as the source and solution to my kitchen sink leak problem, is in fact leaking at the supply line fittings. I asked the manager to do right by me and give them an opportunity to take responsibility for their workmanship and was told that they hold firm to their 30 day warranty and opt not to even take a look at the situation, much less resolve it. This leak was detected 3 months after the "fix" as the house had been vacant for the majority of that time. I did not intend to write a poor review in April when I had difficulties with jacuzzi leak root cause identification and resolution. However, when the manager abdicated any responsibility towards the poor job identifying and resolving my kitchen sink leak, I felt obligated to share my experience so that others are aware of the poor service I received.

Noticed water in the basement, Called Mr Rooter for a quote, they wouldnt give a quote but said a plumber would come out and quote. Plumber came out next morning and quoted $900-$1000 to jet it out. So I said I will try it with a snake first. Tried it with a snake and didnt have any luck. Around 9pm called Mr rooter to have them come out and Jet it out. Guys came out and quoted $1300 now. We couldnt use sinks, toilet, showers etc... unless that drain was cleaned out. So I was in a dead end and had to get it done. I felt like they knew that and thats why the charge so high. It took them aprox 30 min from arrive to packing and leaving. They got it done but $1300 in under 30 min was an insane charge. Service was good, pricing was horrible.

I discovered in the middle of the night that I had no water from any of my faucets. I assumed my pipes were frozen, and called Mr. Rooter since they had 24-hour emergency service. The VERY kind woman I talked with said that it was OK to wait until morning and that she would send someone by at 8. Around 4AM the water was back and I called her to cancel. She suggested that someone come by anyway--no charge--just to check and figure out what had happened. She called around 8 to say that Stephen would be there in about 15 minutes. He arrived--also very kind and friendly--asked me questions (e.g., water sputtered when it first came back), said that the water had been turned off, that I was not actually at risk of frozen pipes (the location of my condo unit), and left. So no work actually performed, but a very favorable impression! (The city had turned the water off to do some work and had left notes on people's doors, but for some reason not on mine)

The technician seemed to not know what he was doing. Every time he would make a repair something else would happen with the piping. I thought the pricing was very high because of how much time they had to spend fixing the problem. He spent at least 2 hours trying to fix a small leak. He did finally get the issue resolved. I had no problem scheduling the service but the workmanship was poor. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

On a saturday night at 9pm, our basement flooded after giving the baby a bath.  We called Mr. Rooter to come and clean the sewer line.  The came with 1.5 hrs and attempted clear the line.  The provider stated that he tried to auger the mainline with 6, 4, 3, 2, and 1/2 inch cutters but couldn't get past 20 to 30 feet and that the blade came back shiny and with sand.  He stated we had a possible mainline break and attempted to televise but couldn't see anything.  He said the repair would be in the range of $4-10,000 and they would call us on monday to schedule the work.

We decided to get a second opinion and called a company that has LOTs of positive reviews on Angie's list.  That company only cleans drains.  They do not repair or line them.  So, they had no vested interest in our line being broken or intact.

The second company started with a kinked line.  got through to 100 ft on the first try, and brought up a bunch of tree roots.  The provider worked his way up to a 6 inch  cutter blade and out to 100 ft consistently.  He observed no evidence of line breakage (no sand, not even in the roots, and the blade was not shiny).  The cost of the successful cleaning was less than half the cost of the failed attempt!  The second provided recommended proactively cleaning the line every 12 months.  I will follow that advice with provider number 2 and will not be using Mr. Rooter again.

.This company came out to my house at 1 in the morning, checked my drain for about 5 minutes then said I would need the special jet water service. The guy came back an hour later.  He was very unprofessional! He smelled like pot and used the F word alot. He was here for maybe 45 minutes and charged me almost $1000!!! What?!!!! I was so mad, I would not sign the contract. He ended up signing his name in the customer spot.
Complaining to the office the next day got me nowhere. They had charged my account already and did not seem to care.
I called another plumber the next day and he said the most it should have cost was $300. Such a rip off!!! Do not use these people.

Without warning the water drain in our basement started to flood the laundry room.  I immediately assumed the main water pipe was clogged and suggested to my husband that we call someone to come out and fix it ASAP, as we could not flush a toilet, run a faucet or do laundry.  My husband contacted Mr. Rooter at about 7:45pm and was told that someone would be arriving within the hour.  Adam arrived at our home about 45 minutes later and was quick to confirm my diagnosis.  Adam gave us two options to clear the clog, the "Hydro-Scrub" ($1200) or (I can't remember their term) snaking through the pipe to break up the clog using a large, loud machine ($480).  We chose the cheaper option.  Adam was very professional and courtious (though he did not wear shoe covers into our newly finished basement).  He answered all of our questions, was friendly and seemed knowledgeable.  He was there about 60-90 minutes and the problem was resolved and will hopefully stay that way.  He cleaned up the area nicely and seemed to be very careful removing and replacing our toilet.  Neither my husband or I are knowledgeable in the area of plumbing so I have no idea if this price point is a complete rip-off or not.  Basically, we chose Mr. Rooter because they would come out for "free" later at night.  Overall, we were happy to have the problem resolved quickly so that we could resume washing clothes, showering and using the bathrooms without our laundry room flooding!  We used a 10% off coupon from their website so it ended up costing $440.

I was originally going to give them a bad rating, but my issue was resolved!
Our house was built in 1937 and the main line to the street is very old.
After running the washing machine, the water backed up in the laundry room, simultaneously the toilet line backed up in the furnace room. Good times!
The technician was Emanuel B. He was professional and polite. He tried to clear the drain using a cable -- which was a $447 charge. But because of the size of the line and the root mass he needed to bring in the "Hydro Scrub". This is super high-pressure water which literally blows the roots to kingdom come! The cost of this was $1462.80.
While doing the "Hydro Scrub" he discovered that the tiles in the line were "offset" and he recommended that the line be replaced. He gave us an estimate to do this and it came to over $10K. Yes, that's right $10,000 to dig up the frozen yard and reline the main sewer line to the street. We decided to wait on replacing the entire line because the technician guaranteed that this work would last at least 6 months.
Now, just 2 months and 4 days later, on a weekend, of course, the line is CLOGGED AGAIN.  <NOTE: Here's where I was quite upset with Mr. Rooter.> There was NO GUARANTEE in place--because Emanuel's guarantee was verbal. And for some reason the "warranty" column on my invoice was X-ed out. My technician thought that  we should not have to pay for it, but his manager requested that we pay him and they would sort it out on Monday.  The warranty/guarantee for the original work on December 12 became a game of "he-said-she-said" and the technician was clearly stuck in the middle.
Because it was a weekend, and because I needed the drain to be cleared, the tech cleared the drain and charged me $375. He applied a coupon we found online. Naturally, I was really upset by this. And was appalled at the weekend customer service.
HOWEVER -- on Monday, I emailed and followed up by phone with their customer service person and she REFUNDED MY MONEY!
This made me quite happy -- they listened to what I had to say and were courteous and understanding.
Turns out, that roots can't continue to grow without the energy provided by the leaves-- I checked Google! The roots causing this back-up were missed on the first service in December.
I will be getting multiple bids for replacing the line as soon as spring time comes, and will consider Mr. Rooter.  Hopefully, we don't have any more issues with water backing up.

Originally we caled on Dec 10 to have a drain cleared.   It was done quickly but was VERY expensive.   He claimed that the special equipment he was using would solve all of our problems and charged us $430.00.  He said the expense was for this special equipment he was using.    Now, less than 45 days later, we have the same problem and he wants another $430.  He was rude and he was late.    We would never recommend or use this company ever again.

**  Update **
The Company did someone else out and they did what should have happened the first time, they ran auger through, cleared the drain and it is running well.  They did not charge for the second call.    There was no charge for the expensive special equipment that was used the first time through.

Alex and Jason were prompt and conscientious, as well as knowledgeable about the other plumbers bidding for the work. The selling point was their bid itself, which was the most detailed appraisal of the project, and included the work they did on the pipe to ascertain the initial problem. Best of all, they offered a maximum price for the project, not just a baseline. Even with all of that, they were still flexible with price, knocking money off to beat the competition. They worked efficiently, cleaned up after themselves, and offered no surprises.
They cared about the job, not just getting it, but doing it well.
