Description of Work: This specialty has a very nebulous pricing structure. what is fair. I was completely satisfied with the work they did and the charge. they were 200 less than a bid I had with another service, did exactly what I asked and did not suggest other services to jack up the price. They cleaned up better than the yard was before they got there, including throwing displaced rocks back into the flower beds and were timely and polity. I couldn't be happier with them.

No damage to anything.Only reason for lack of all "A's" as it took a couple time calling them back to schedule the work and....when they ground the stump, they missed a portion of two big roots.... Other than that..I was very happy...

Description of Work: An arborist knocked on my door, told me that his company was doing some work down the street and asked if I needed to have anything done. I pointed to a 30 year old ash tree in my back yard with two large, broken limbs barely attahed to the tree. He offered to take them down and dispose of them for $75.00.

 + -1 moreEric an arborist came the morning after I called and gave me an estimate and advice. The day after that we were scheduled for the work , but rain and wind resulted in our rescheduling the next week. The crew was prompt and efficient. They cleaned up well and did a fine job. Phone calls are answered and/or returned promptly. The estimate was right on. Eric is particularly pleasant to deal with and has a good eye for the pruning and shaping of a tree. I would definitely recommend this company and will use them again.
Description of Work: A moderately large maple tree was removed and the stump ground out. A large maple was pruned and the dead branches removed. Two apple trees and a young ash tree had some minor pruning and shaping.

 + -1 moreThe person who provided the estimate was pleasant and professional. The owner insisted the estimate be changed due to the scope of the job. When the company did the job they appeared to be in a hurry. They dropped a number of tree limbs smashing five sidewalk panels and areas of the cement driveway. They probably have the skill to do smaller jobs but not big jobs without causing damage. They agreed to take responsibility for the sidewalk damage but not the driveway damage. They ignored 20 voice mail messages and when finally contacted said they would come out to survey the driveway but they never did.
Description of Work: Service removed large diseased elm which spanned three Minneapolis residential lots. Gathered and hauled away debris. Ground stump.

 + -1 moreVery impressed with the professionalism. They had 6 men and they cut down those large branches and cleaned up very nicely. Chewed up the branches so there was very little mess when they left.
Description of Work: Did preventative oak wilt treatment on 4 huge oak trees. Trimmed one oak tree significantly and some branches on another oak tree.

 + -1 moreTHEY NEVER SHOWED UP AND REPEATED PHONE CALLS TO THE SERVICE WERE IGNORED (IN FACT, THEY NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONE). WE BELIEVE THEY NEVER INTENDED TO REMOVE THE STUMP AND USED THE LOW $50 PRICE TO OFFSET THE PRICE OF REMOVING THE TREE. IN ANY EVENT, WE ARE NOW ACTIVELY SEARCHING FOR ANOTHER SERVICE TO REMOVE THE STUMP. EXTREMELY NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE. THE ORIGINAL TREE REMOVAL WAS FINE, BUT THEIR FAILURE TO HONOR THE CONTRACT TO FINISH THE JOB WAS DISTRESSING. THEIR ABSOLUTE REFUSAL TO RESPOND TO ANY OF OUR PHONE CALLS WAS UNACCEPTABLE. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE USING THIS SERVICE.
Description of Work: WE GOT A WRITTEN AGREEMENT FROM MINNESOTA TREE EXPERTS TO REMOVE A TREE AND GRIND THE STUMP. THE AGREEMENT WAS FOR $650. WHEN THE SERVICEMEN ARRIVED, THEY INDICATED THEY COULD NOT GRIND THE STUMP UNTIL THE FOLLOWING WEEK AND CHARGED US $600 TO REMOVE THE TREE AND LEFT A CONTRACT AGREEMENT TO REMOVE THE STUMP FOR $50 THE FOLLOWING WEEK.
