It went great, Andy our service technician did an amazing job! He got here early and the job was tricky with an older home but he came up with a creative solution and did it quickly! We were very pleased with the service and the price and how the repair was done. Thanks again Andy for a great job!

Dana arrived within a half-hour of our call, go the door open (not easy for him either) and re-keyed the door. He was friendly and professional. I have taken key issues to their store before and had excellent results. This was their first "house call" to my home and I would definitely call on them again if the need should arise. Dana said he had over 30 years experience as a locksmith. He is a real pro. I felt the $100 was money very well spent.

On Friday night, I had had my bag stolen with house keys and my name and address in it (on Rx meds), so I was eager to have the house rekeyed ASAP. As I looked for locksmiths, though, the first few were not even open on Saturday. A few looked like they had someone "on call," but I assumed that meant extra expensive, so I kept looking. Minneapolis Lock & Key posted Saturday hours (8:30 to 12 noon), so I called immediately at 8:30. Brian came right away and rekeyed all three doors.

This was my first time using their service based on reviews through Angies List. Dana (nearly 40 yrs experience) was prompt, friendly and highly professional. We have an antique front door that is over 65 years old. I was worried that all the hardware would have to be replaced, but Dana was able to repair the inside mechanism an coordinate the two locks so the same key can open/lock either. He also tightened up the hardware which was a vast improvement from the way it was working previous to his visit. We also had an antique grandfathers clock - the key had broken off inside the lock. It took him all of 5 minutes to repair the lock so it was fully operational. Good bye to the packing tape that I have used on door and clock for over a year. The cost was reasonable, and I would not hesitate to call them again for future work. Great job!

Excellent workmanship and professionalism! Brian showed up right on time. Our remodeling contractor had installed the locking door handles and deadbolts incorrectly a few years ago, so they were malfunctioning. Brian fixed what could be fixed and installed a far better key pad deadbolt on the front door. He did an excellent job of explaining things and really went above and beyond in service. Highly recommended!

I was able to get a same-day appointment, which was great. Dana arrived early, but offered to wait until the appointment time, which I thought was nice. I was home already, so it was fine for him to come over early. He quickly replaced the deadbolt, and adjusted another deadbolt on the property at no extra charge. The price was as quoted on the phone beforehand, which is always nice. He was very courteous (took snowy boots off, etc.). I would use Minneapolis Lock & Key again.
