Offered the best price among 5 contractors.  Replaced front door and sidelights.  There was some damage to the frame but they fixed it for free.  Would have no problem recommending them to friends.

When I went to open my garage door in the morning there was some strange grinding and the door stopped half way open. The motor was running, but the door wasn't moving. I opened the door manually and called Midwest Door. While I was gone Dan came and replaced the stripped gear in the opener, leaving the broken part behind. I'm sure glad I didn't have to try to fix that. When I got home a couple hours later, the door was working.

DAN WAS GREAT TO WORK WITH. CAME FOR THE ESTIMATE THE SAME DAY I CALLED. THE ENTIRE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION TOOK A LITTLE OVER 4 HOURS. I HAD TO LEAVE BEFORE HE WAS DONE BUT WHEN I GOT HOME EVERYTHING WAS GREAT. CLEANED UP THE SPACE AND EVERYTHING. THE ONLY THING THAT COULD BE IMPROVED WAS THAT I WISH HE HAD CALLED WHEN HE KNEW HE WAS RUNNING LATE THE DAY OF THE INSTALLATION. AS IT WAS, I CALLED HIM AND EVERYTHING WAS FINE.
