Who knew that Michael's had this terrific secret framing service in the back of the store? Having been there a million times buying Girl Scout craft stuff (and loving it), I decided to check them out for repairing a broken frame. They replaced the broken hooks with sturdier hardware and picture wire; charged me the grand price of 10 bucks plus tax, and did an excellent job, returning my tapestry wrapped beautifully in brown art paper. Although this was not a particularly tricky job, it was done so neatly and promptly, I would definitely go back with more work, as needed.

The framing looked great; however, we noticed once we got it home that the print had gotten a small tear in it. We called and they offered to pay for a new print, but it was not possible to replace it.

SERVICE WAS SATISFACTORY. THE EMPLOYEES SEEMED TO VARY IN THEIR KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE FOR FRAMING. AFTER WE TOOK THE FINISHED PRODUCT HOME WE NOTICED THAT THE GLASS SLID AROUND IN THE FRAME. WE TOOK IT BACK AND AS THEY WERE FIXING IT THEY DROPPED IT AND BENT THE FRAME. THEY SENT FOR A NEW FRAME, WHICH TOOK SEVERAL MORE WEEKS. WHEN WE GOT IT BACK THEY GAVE US A 15% REFUND BECAUSE OF THE PROBLEM/DELAY.
