Our hallmarks are individual, personalized care for each dog plus unparalleled customer service. Whether your dog is here for 4 hours or 7 days, we tend to its individual needs. Some dogs respond to a treat. Some respond to a butt pat. Some go crazy over ear skritches. Some live for belly rubs. We get inside the head of each dog and make sure that our care is directed towards minimizing stress and keeping your dog feeling safe and happy. Also, Metro Dogs exists to make your life easier. Whatever you need, we will do. Your flight gets in late on Sunday? Yes, you can pick your dog up at 10PM on Sunday. You have to be somewhere at 7:00 AM, our opening time? Yes, you can drop off your dog at 6:15. You suddenly got called into a late client meeting and 8 PM dinner? No problem, we'll be here for a late daycare pick up and won't make you board your dog overnight.

Nine days into our trip we got a call from Metro Dogs saying our dog had caught Kennel Cough and could we please make prompt arrangements to pick her up. We made the arrangements and had our dog picked up by noon that day. When we returned home we were greatly upset to discover the staff had made a mistake and given our dog only a portion of her breakfast we provided every day she was in their care. Our dog had lost a significant amount of weight in addition to having the cough. I will not speculate on the quality of service they provide others and at other times of the year, but I will not be using their services again. The owner was mortified at their mistake and gave us a full refund. They handled themselves professionally throughout, but it was not a good experience for our family.

I've taken him there multiple times for day care and judging by the doggy cam he has quite a good time. He gets plenty of play time and is pretty worn out by the end of the day. Perfect for the days when I am a little too tired for a rambunctious puppy when I get done with work! I've also boarded him twice now and both times Amy sent a video of him so I could see how he was doing. A very nice touch. Because the boarded dogs are also allowed in the play group, you can also watch them online if you're able. The last time I had mentioned that he had a lot of energy to burn and when Amy brought him out she showed me a picture of him sound asleep. Mission accomplished!
The staff are all very friendly and seem genuinely happy to be there. They take great care of the dogs and the facility so I definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for short or long term dog care. They also offer grooming services which has come in handy before when we've noticed his nails needed a trim.
Great choice! The owner, Amy, and her staff obviously love dogs. Our dog loves the all-day playgroup, and we love watching him play on the webcam -- much better than paying for half an hour of play elsewhere. The staff also adds nice personal touches -- including e-mail updates on how our dog is doing when at Metro Dogs. Our dog comes home exhausted and well cared for. He has also been groomed once and they did a great job. Highly recommended!
