METICULOUS PAINTING

This was not a good experience. Jon sent someone to paint who did not have adequate supplies and did not seem very capable even though he made an effort. Later Jon came and tried to repair some of the work but you can see many places where paper was not fully stripped and was painted over. The employee only had one tarp and did not cover furniture and flooring well resulting in paint splatters and large amounts of sanded dust ground into the flooring. The drywaller he brought in did a nice job but did not seal off the area all that well and left a big pile of old sheetrock on our porch although he was supposed to haul it away. Previously I had Shelton Painting do similar work. They did a fabulous job. The only reason I did not use them a second time was because of scheduling. What a mistake on my part!

Jon came out in a few days of my calling him to give an estimate and the work was completed within a week. His estimate included all the paint, and he got the exact paint from the paint store, where I always buy my paint. He took my sample paint and delivered it to the house for the painter to begin. Once the painter started the job, he worked every day, including the weekend. Vern, the painter was meticulous in the painting and preparing to paint. All extra paint I kept and they cleaned up, so there was no mess. They covered plants as well. They paint interiors as well. I even got a thank you note from Jon for having them do the work!
