M.A.C. Painting and Wallcovering

Did not start on promised start date. Dragged the refrigerator on new hardwood floors gouging the floors. Painting of walls O.K., but missed details. Told me they did not have a place to spray the cabinet fronts (contrary to original plan) and would have to use my garage. Cabinet fronts were not cleaned and prepped well. When they were sprayed there globs of paint here and there. There were some areas that were shiny and some flat and some areas never got painted. Finally they agreed to redo the paint job and took the cabinet fronts away. Two weeks later I could not even reach Matt to get my fronts back. Piles of paint supplies in our garage made one space unusable (winter). Finally when the fronts were returned, it was obvious the sanding had been done with a power sander and there are still deep scratches in the finish. I had to hire another painter to retouch the walls and cabinets and a floor company to redo the entire kitchen floor. Claim to his insurance company went unanswered.

THEY DID EXCELLENT WORK VERY THOROUGH. LEFT JOB SITE IMMACULATE. MATT THE OWNER WAS EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY.

OUR REALTOR RECOMMENDED MATT. WE NEEDED TO REPAINT WITHIN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS, AND THE PROJECT WAS PRETTY SMALL. HE SQUEEZED US IN WITHIN ABOUT 10 DAYS, AND WAS ALWAYS ON TIME. HE SAID HE GAVE US A SLIGHT DISCOUNT BECAUSE OF REALTOR RECOMMENDATION, BUT WE AREN'T EXPERTS ON PAINTING COSTS. SEEMED PRETTY CLOSE TO ANOTHER BID WE HAD. HE AND HIS ASSISTANT FINISHED WITHIN ABOUT 6 HOURS, AND THE PAINT LOOKS NICE.
