Life Time Fitness Plymouth

I really like it. I think their customer service is good. They have really great fitness instructors in particular but the front desk is nice. Everyone is good. I think overall customer service is very good.

The Plymouth Club is clean and equipped with up-to-date machines.  I had no problem finding a machine that was available.  There are television screens with a variety of channels.  I believe it is possible to listen to the audio for those stations through the radio, but I watched the closed captions.  I was there in the afternoon and it was busy.  I have used the pool and weights in the past, but didn't on this day.  I did use the locker room.  Like the rest of the facility, it was clean.  The club provides towels and use of a locker with a membership.  There are two indoor pools and one outdoors.  There is also a whirlpool for adults.  One of the indoor pools is for laps and the other has a slide and is more for family use.  I have visited this club many times.  I have found it to be family friendly, but have never had a problem with children in unauthorized areas.  One of the reasons I left my last club was their refusal to enforce their rules about children in weight rooms and around other equipment that is not safe for children.  It seems to me Lifetime has found a balance that both welcomes families and also provides a safe atmosphere for adults who don't want to have to worry about a child darting in their way when they are running or one playing with the machines.
The staff at the club are courteous and I have never had a problem with service.  I cannot speak to the membership fees from personal experience.  When this club first opened, they offered lifetime memberships that included a set fee that would never change.  I have one of those memberships and pay very little each month.  Since that time, levels of membership have been added and I don't know about current pricing.  Parking there is adequate, but during busy times the lot is often nearly full. 

I love Life Time. Equiptment is available, modern and in good repair. Generally my only issue is pool or cafe closures which you don't dind out about until you get there.

They also have a pool. The outside pool is great and nice place for kids summer vacation. The machines especially the strength training machines are great collection they have. Some of tread mills are older and get breakdown some time. They also have kids play area where kids can stay under monitored. Very nominal fees with regular membership. Peak hours are crowded but off peak hours are mostly get equipment.

The facility is clean and nice.  The pool is family friendly, although it gets very crowded.

I have been a member at Lifetime Fitness for a long time. It's a really nice place, it's large and has a wide range or machines and equipment. They also have a pool.

They have exercise equipment, basketball, wall climbing, racquet ball, squash, ice rink, day care,  a hair salon, and children's day care.  They also have classes for cycling etc.  Everything that you could want is there!  It is clean, the fresh towels are provided, the equipment is well maintained, and the people there are friendly.  My whole family goes there so I will continue to go also, and tell others about it. 

The facility was quite nice, as were most of the employees, (I have to say, I much prefer a more low-key workout environment. I'm not a college student looking to hook up). However, this was not a match for me mostly because of the child care facility. I just never felt like it was a good trade off to get a work out in while my kids sat in front of a gigantic screen TV watching loud, offensive cartoons. Might work for some, but I had to cancel my membership.

I would recommend other clubs because they are cleaner and lower priced.

We really enjoy the quality of the kid's programs at Lifetime; swimming for the kids through Foss, Preschool Adventure Days, Sports Mania and "Fabulous Gym Fridays". I would not get through the week without this great energy outlet for the kids!

LT's monopoly on the fitness market is leading to high monthly dues.
