Construction of deck and install of patio went well.  We did not hire them to do a fence and had it set up for the sod to go in first so the fence could go as close to the ground as possible.  They delayed and the fence ended up going in first.  We have dogs and explained that they will get out if the grading is not done tight to the fence.  They did not follow these instructions and laughed when we said the dog will get out.  We let the dog into the back yard and the dog got under the fence while they watched.  They fixed it by building up the soil by the fence instead of properly grading it.  We also had a problem with the gate not opening because the side of our house has a slight slope to it.  They graded it so the fence door hit the slope.  The owner at the time came out, said he saw no problem, but lifted off some rolls of sod, kicked some dirt around and said we would be fine.  Couldn't believe how unprofessional the designer and owner were.  We figure it is because they didn't get the fence business since every problem stemmed from the fence going in first.  Would not recommend them and would certainly not use them again with so many other companies are out there they care about service.

We contracted Landshapes to perform snow removal for us for the 2010/2011 winter season after previous contractor failed to show up on multiple occasions.  Paul was our contact and I was so impressed by him and his professional manner.  This company is *top notch* when it comes to professionalism, service, and quality of workmanship.  They did a great job plowing our parking lot and sidewalks and also provided salt/sand service on an ongoing basis.  Our walks were always shoveled edge to edge and all the way down to the pavement, as was our parking lot.  They were always on time or early and they would also coordinate with us to do an edge to edge plow where we could have all the cars moved from our parking lot prior to their arrival.  They applied salt/sand as necessary, and contacted us to make recommendations as to when to apply.   They really did an outstanding job.  They are not the least expensive service you will find, however they provide a  real bargain if you're looking for a contractor that you don't have to manage, and will provide the results you're looking for.  If you want the job done right the first time, call Landshapes.

His work has been shown in Better Homes & Gardens. He is a hard worker. He would never take a break. He wouldn't use our bathroom, he would just drink out of the hose. We go to church with him. He is very skilled. I would say he is an artist in the yard.

THEY VERY FAIRLY PRICED AND KEEP THE GROUNDS LOOKING NICE.

THEY HAVE BEEN CARING FOR THE GROUNDS AND DOING THE SNOW REMOVAL FOR THE LAST 15 YEARS. I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS ABOUT THEM AT ALL.

THE LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT THAT I WORKED WITH DID NOT SEEM TO BE VERY EXPERIENCED. I ENDED UP WITH A LANDSCAPE DESIGN THAT IS DIFFICULT TO MAINTAIN AND NOT AESTHETICALLY PLEASING. WHILE THEY HAVE BEEN GOOD ABOUT REPLACING PLANTS THAT DIED OVER THE HARD WINTER, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY DUE TO THE OVERALL POOR QUALITY OF THEIR WORK.
