They did a good job. They replaced the shingles on that part of the roof where shingles had come loose, and took away the old shingles.

There was a little problem but it wasn't any of their fault. I had ice dams in the winter on the addition. I had different roofers come out and they all basically said that I needed to rip out the fiberglass insulation and spray foam it and put in blown in. The only problem was it was a A-frame vaulted ceiling and they was no way to get into it because it had wood on the inside. They had to rip off the roof deck and replace it on a 700 square foot addition. That is why it was so expensive. The guy that did the spray foam just got a new machine and it didn't work right. It was a manufacturer's problem so when they sprayed it, it didn't rise right so they had to rip all of that out. These guys had to work twice as hard. They took care of it all and took some money off because there was some cleanup I had to do. It was all under the insurance warranty of the manufacturer. It was great. They went around the house and made sure all the nails and shingles were picked up. they were quick and they did it when I was at work. It is way quieter because before when it rained, it sounded like a tin roof. We'll see how it does this winter. The guy who actually came out was Steve Miller. He explained my options and if I needed an answer, he found it for me to read. He was knowledgeable, courteous and trustworthy. I am happy with it so far. Their price was not the lowest or the highest. I got what I paid for.

They have a very good communication, showed up when they said they're going to and did a good job. It's very clean and they stayed on a major clean-up when they're done. I had no problem.

They were fine. They were good. They were timely and they did the work well, beyond that I don't have any comments. The price was negotiated with the insurance so it was fine. I have a twenty-five year warranty and we took an extended warranty as a part of it, so it's fine. If we needed them, we would go with them again. We would certainly recommend them.

Bill was prompt and friendly. He found a crack in some sheet metal on our roof and caulked it in the spot. He gave a thoughtful assessment of the general state of the roof. Lakewoods will be my first call for future roof issues.

While I was out of town for an extended amount of time my wife informed me that our living room had a dark spot after one of the large storms. I quickly looked up the highest rated companies on Angie's List and decided to have Lakewood give me an estimate. Not only did they re-arrange there schedule to fit me in but also fixed the issue ( minor chalking and vent fix) free of charge - I am very impressed with a company that goes above and beyond to help the costumer. The water issue ended up not being a big deal, but I will definitely be giving them a call for future work.

Excellent experience. Crew did a great job protecting landscaping, handling tricky flashing challenges and cleaning up thoroughly. Bill provided us with a well-detailed proposal that addressed our concerns and provided options in terms of choices and recommendations. Jorge, did a wonderful job on-site during the process. Bill was back next day to check the site, ask if we were satisfied and to remove left-over materials (the dumpster company from Shakopee had already picked up the dumpster- early morning next day after job completion). Sharon did a terrific job of communicating, getting us scheduled, supplying permit documents, and handling invoice and receipt. All told, this was a great experience! Kudos to Lakewoods Remodeling!

I had an excellent experience working with Lakewoods Remodeling Inc. I have been very impressed with their service. They had some innovative solutions to some quirky spots on my roof. I thought that they did very high quality work and they did the work quickly. The crew was courteous and friendly. June 2014 was a recordbreaking month of rain, and I had a leak occur near the end of the month. I'm a do-it-yourselfer, so I identified the likely cause as a piece of flashing that had apparently warped and allowed rain to get behind it. I know that kind of thing can happen with materials sitting out under the sun. Since it was under warranty, I decided to let the roofer address it. Because they were swamped (pun?) with work due to the ongoing heavy rainfall, they were not able to get to me before the next rain was expected, so I addressed it myself. They did come out reasonably promptly and supplemented my repairs. Other than it taking longer to hear back from them than I expected, I was happy with their response to the situation. One side note. I had cheap gutter covers (purchased and installed by me before the roofing). When they did the roof, I told them they could just leave the gutter covers off and I'd deal with them. They put them back anyway. I did not realize until later that this resulted in the covers being cemented down under the shingles. When I later had some issues requiring me to get under the covers and also wanting to replace some of them, I found I had to cut the covers because I could not otherwise remove them without messing with the shingles, which I did not want to do. I ended up wishing I would have insisted they not replace the covers because it was difficult to deal with issues later. Moral of the story: Ask more questions than I did.

It went really well. They cleaned up after themselves. They asked if we were happy and I told them we were. I get a lot of compliments. They were on time.

They found three leaks and patched them. They have held up during the record rains we have been having - much appreciated.

I called on Monday of this week early after the heavy, HEAVY storm caused rain to seep into a 3-season porch on the home we recently moved into. I spoke to Sharon (Fabulous!!!) and understood that they were very busy. She talked through with me what the issue was and said she'd talk to her staff to see if we could get squeezed in somehow. She called me back quickly and said a technician would be in my area on Wednesday and could swing by. The gentleman came today - Bill (also fabulous). Spent a long time looking at the issue, the damage, the origination and the roof. We found out that the water was coming in through an un-caulked window and the roof was fine. Bill was SO nice and SO knowledgeable we were so happy. He spent time talking through the repair (since we can fix it ourselves). There was no repair cost for this visit. When we need roofing services again (or anything else they do), without hesitation we will use Lakewoods Remodeling! And will tell our friends to do the same. They were fabulous to work with!! Thank you!!!

Lakewoods Remodeling was easy to contact and responsive; they explained procedures clearly; they assisted us in working with our insurance provider; and they made sure that the work was completed well and in a reasonable amount of time.

I received a reminder call around 10am from Lakewoods for my 11:30am appointment telling me Shawn would be there around 11:30am. Like clockwork, Shawn arrived at 11:30am. Shawn was very thorough and addressed each of my questions with very straight forward, professional, honest answers. No work was done yet but he is going to make sure someone calls the next time they're in the area to hop on my roof and caulk the area that needs to be done.

Bill was fantastic in every way. Unrelated to the leak, he also found a hole at the base of one of our upstairs windows and patched that. Then, he talked to me at length about what I could do to fix the water stain and crack in my ceiling from the leak. (I even asked him about another water stain on one of our walls that I noticed, and he discussed possible reasons for that.) All this, and he didn't charge me at all! When we need a new roof in a few years, we'll definitely be calling Lakewoods. Bill didn't try to sell me on a new roof, as others might have. Instead, he patiently explained and showed me everything that was going on and answered all of my questions. What a pleasure! One more small note: when I first called Lakewoods, the woman who answered the phone looked up the age of our roof (which no one else had done for me in the two years I'd been asking about it) and told me how to do it myself too.

They were great. I would highly recommend Lakewood Remodeling. Scott was terrific to work with. He is extremely well organized, excellent communicator, and did everything he said he would from the time he said he would start to the final clean up. He was extremely knowledgeable in working with my insurance company. He was a great help in getting a fair settlement with my insurance company. I would highly recommend to anyone who has needs for a complicated roof or roofing problem at a very competitive price.

During a week of rain we noticed water leaking through the ceiling of our kitchen (two floors down from the roof). I called another company (that seemed to have equally good reviews on Angie's List) who said they were booked out three weeks. I called Lakewoods Remodeling on Wednesday and Sharon (front office) was very helpful in mentioning that they would have workers in our area on Th and Friday. She said she would make a couple of calls and see if they could fit me in. Later that day, I got a call from Bill who said he could come by before his 2:30 appointment in our neighborhood - around 1-1:30. I was happy to get in the schedule and arranged to be home at that time. When Bill got here, we showed him where the leak was in the attic. After taking a look, he got up on the roof and noticed that while we had the flashing replaced last year, there was no caulk. Bill caulked the area and was also very helpful in pointing out some other items that came to his attention - like the fact that one of our bathrooms was venting into the attic space and not out the roof as would be expected. Bill was helpful, answered all our questions in a straightforward manner, and was friendly and professional. AND we didn't need to wait 3 weeks while our roof was leaking which certainly put my mind at ease.

I purchased a Big Deal for $199.00 for a roof maintenance. There were two men, only one went up and he only went onto the lower part of the roof, not the entire roof. He said everything was fine and there were no problems. I thought there would be more out of this deal, at least nailing down the nails.

We purchased a big deal purchase for 45% off with 2 hours of roof ice/snow removal. It's very well. They were prompt. They were easy to work with and they gave us some information and advice about how to handle and prevent ice in the future. They came last year. We actually had a different company come this year. It was reasonable price. I feel like they were just good communicators. They also furnish just additional information and took care something that is flashing around the vent that we had and they took care of that right away and said that they do that in the spring to provide a better solution for that vent location and they came out and took care of that as promise.

We were not happy with the service as we were told with the size of the roof that we had they could do the work in a certain amount of time. I went out after an hour and I noticed they were working in an area that did not even need the service. Communicating with them was very tough and we were unhappy as they were unable to finish the work that we ended up having to have another company come and finish the work. They should have had someone there who had good English speaking skills and I think the service would have been much better. I was very unhappy with how they wasted their time and I told them if they were running out of time to just fix the problem areas. They should have known to work on the problem areas that were causing the ice dams and I even specifically mentioned that they needed to work on those areas.

WENT VERY WELL. NICE JOB. GOOD CLEAN UP AFTER THE JOB WAS DONE.
