Kenwood Pet Clinic

I cannot say enough about Kenwood Pet Hospital here in Minneapolis.   If I could give an A++ to Kenwood, I would give it to them; across the board, hands down, the best.  They're super.

After her exam, the doctor confirmed she had an infection and have us eye drops to give her for 10 days. When it proved to be difficult to administer the eye drops to her at home, we called the clnic and they said to bring her in and they would administer her eye drops every day there for her at no charge. Now that's service!

This is not your ordinary vet clinic. I have been going to KPC for 19 years, not out of loyalty or convenience, but because this is where I know the care and expertise is. These people love animals and pet-owners alike. They get that we have hard decisions to make and they are true professionals and true friends at the same time.

They are excellent. I rate them highly and I will continue to use them in the future.

We've gone to Kenwood for years for all of our pets. The vet technicians are wonderful, and several are available to watch your pet when you are gone, or during the day while you are working. Some of the vets tend to overexplore an issue unless you firmly tell them (for example) that you do not want the bloodwork tests done at this point in time. However, all of the vets are highly experienced. Dr. Joanne Schulman and her son, Jeff Schulman are both wonderful vets, and are very sensitive to delicate balance between economics and pet love. The office is very professional, and they are open long hours, including Saturdays (until 1 p.m.) and until 8 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday. They have cared for three of our dogs and five of our cats over the years, and they feel like family. I would highly recommend them.

They were very helpful. They gave her a physical, recommended a great doggy eye doctor, and recommended a diet that is working well for her.

The vet and the technicians were very friendly, their clinic was very clean. The exam was very comprehensive and they do their own testing so the results were available almost immediately.

They are very good, helpful, and caring to the animals. However, they are very expensive. The office staff is professional and helpful. The office and the waiting rooms are clean and maintained well. They have several doctors on the staff and we always get in if we need to see someone in an emergency. They don't keep us waiting. They are located just down the block from where we live.

They have been excellent. I like their hours of operation, they are open until 8 o'clock at night. They always seem to have availability the same day that you call. They are very knowledgeable.

We felt it was a good visit in that we left our appointment knowing our options and what to expect. It's clear that the staff really love animals. They followed up with us after our appointment to find out what course we had decided to take.

Kenwood Pet Clinic is, overall, wonderful. While our most recent well-visit was a little pricey (it did include heart worm and flea prevention treatments, however), the care, as always, was first-rate. Dr. Turino is patient and gentle with animals, and he clearly knows his stuff. Like all the vets at Kenwood, he seems to be up-to-date with the latest developments but also uses his experience to address any problems or issues our pets might be having. Sometimes we have to wait a while at our appointments, but the wait is worth it, I'd say. I'm particularly impressed with their follow-up; they always call to check in if there's been any treatment for a health problem.

They were very friendly and the vet was good with our very difficult cat! They explained everything thoroughly and called two days later to follow up and see how our cat was doing. We have been taking our cat to this clinic for 10 years for annual check-ups and have never had a complaint.
