The color scheme and everything else mentioned above look great. She suggested some colors that I probably would not have picked otherwise (a good thing). Kathryn works on a fixed hourly rate of almost $100 per hour, so don't expect a bargain. She is very nice and personable, but I don't think she has done a lot of contemporary designs, which was my preference. Overall, I couldn't help but feel that she is not very organized. Instead of interviewing me, seeing the space, and then assembling a complete proposal, we met many times at my home, tile, carpet and lighting stores. That isn't all bad, but I feel that it ate up many very expensive hours and didn't provide enough value for the cost. I eventually just picked a lot of things myself, assembled them in an email and asked her to review. I couldn't see spending even more time and money when there were still over a dozen decisions to be made. Overall, I like the results but I don't feel I got enough value for my money.

We have been very happy with the ideas, service, and professionalism that Kathryn has provided. She is very receptive to our ideas, however, will encourage us to incorporate new ideas/themes into our home. She follows up with all of the suppliers to make sure things are running smoothly and we receive good service. Her design rate was $95.00 per hour, however, well worth her expertise and money save on carpet, tile etc.
