Kailer Construction Co The job that Kailer Construction Co. had done took way too long. The only people that were competent was the plumbers, and the electricians. Everybody else was horrible. The carpenter, ruined things here, he clogged up my sink throwing thinset in it, used my shop vac (without permission), to suck up concrete, and left it filthy, I had to clean it. The carpenter, broke an antique glass globe, and said nothing about it, and his work was horrible. I had to go clean up many things that he did, he did things improperly. The owner, had to tear down a wall of tile, that the carpenter had put up, and redo the wall himself, because it was so bad. It just went on, and on, and on, it was a horrible experience. The sheet rock people came in, and the owner had asked them to paint, and they had slopped paint all over, did a poor job, without surface preparation, didn't understand english very well. It was just horrible all the way around. The places looks nice now, only because I monitored the work very closely, and I did work myself, to repair what was damaged by them. Kailer Construction Co., people, had put in a toilet, and the flange,( that the toilet sets on) got broken, and it had leaked through the ceiling, and had created mold, above the sink, in my kitchen. So, I had to hire a sheet rock guy to come in to repair the sheet rock that had gotten damaged by the leak. When Kailer Construction Co,. repaired the toilet flange, it was a terrible job, and I had to hire a professional to come in to repair it correctly. A couple of the new windows that Kailer Construction Co., had installed downstairs, were installed incorrectly, so I have to call them back on that. Kailer Construction Co., meant well, but the people that Kailer Construction Co., hired to do the work, just were not competent people. The people that Kailer Construction Co., was NOT professional.
Description of Work: Kailer Construction Co I had, Kailer Construction Co., do major construction on my home. Kailer Construction Co, begin work on December 1, 2010, they just finished up, the inspection is still left to do. The cost was $42,000. There was some structural work done, meaning the main support beam in the basement was replaced. A metal I-beam was put in, that turned out fine. The floors were sanded, I found a different person for that work. Bathroom was completely redone, new tub, new floor, new tile. All new windows downstairs
