The work was excellent. The yard was completely cleaned of debris. My neighbors and I have used this company for ten plus years. Always professional and always does a great job!

The crew was professional and they have worked together for many years. They communicated well with me and the neighbors have commented on what a good job they did.

We acceoted a bid written 6/23/17 from KC for shrub and tree trimming and stump grinding. After several calls he finally came out and only did the shrub trimming on 7/28/17 ater telling me he *lost* the proposal sheet. I paid for the completed shrub trimming and included a copy of his 6/23/17 proposal, and inquired if he was going to honor his original proposal for remainder of work contracted, never heard back from him. I subsequently also called him 3 times leaving messages without a return call. As of today 9/7/17 still no return call from him, the net being we paid his specified charge for shrubs but will be forced to use a different tree company for the remainder of work needed due to no return communication from him. Unprofessional.

KC removed a broken ash tree branch and trimmed the tree as needed. Once again excellent work, on time at a fair price.

KC Groves did an excellent job. We needed a tree trimmed to take low-hanging branches off the roof of our house, and also the trunk was starting to split so we needed that secured. The tree was trimmed perfectly - off the roof, and yet still retained a nice shape; also they removed a lot of dead branches and the tree just looks so much healthier. Also, the trunk was splitting, so we now have a bolt running thru the trunk to keep it together. The job was done exactly as requested; when they said they would do it, and our yard was left perfectly clean as if they were never there. Great job, great price, great service.

He is pretty good. They trimmed our Oak, and took an limb off our Ash tree. Told me what they were going to do, and did it.

The crew worked quickly and efficiently, and later ground the stump down. I was very pleased with his responsiveness, and the work was done professionally. They cleaned up well. Some that charge twice as much, or more, are great to chat with, and clearly love to work with trees - this crew is more straightforward and practical, but they get the job done, quickly, and know what they're doing. They were one of three companies recommended (and used) by the Edina forester.

Very well!  Casey came out, gave me an estimate I think within a day.  I called him to schedule and after 2 phone calls he'd arranged to have a crane come in to lift the tree out, and the street lined with no parking signs.

Between 8  & 8:30 the crew and the crane arrived as planned and work got underway.  It was amazing to watch!  They had to lift

the tree sections really high to clear the boulevard trees then laid it down in the Street for cut up & removal.  Then back for another section.  By the time it arrived they were ready to cut it up.  Very efficient.  They cleaned up the street and my lot.  It was great.

Good timing too as a neighbor came out, asked for a quote and they went across the street to do another job.

They were done in about an hour - maybe a little longer. 

We got three separate recommendations and estimates for work on this tree.  All three recommendations were different and the quotes for work were therefore different as well.  K.C. Groves' professional recommendation was that the Locust is a very strong tree and that the branch in question was not posing a safety risk, however, if we wished to take extra precautions they would install a 3/4 bolt system and a braided rope system.  We had this work done and they also thinned out dead branches on that larger limb in question to reduce the load.  I know nothing about trees but we are pleased with the work done and will rehire K.C. Groves for future arborist needs.

They were recommended to me by a neighbor. They have great prices; I got bids once and they were half the price of other providers. He knows a lot about trees and their diseases. For example there is a huge oak tree over my house, other providers wanted to cut it down but he said it is so dump and if we cut it, it will get oak welch and it can die. He suggested we wait until after the frost. He is the only one who suggested that. He is knowledgeable about specific types of trees and care for them. He does the work while I am at work and he puts the bill in my mail. I have never met him. There is a two weeks wait before he comes over.

We have used KC Grooves for many years. They are Experienced, professional, and do a very good job.

It was an amazing job.  Very close to house and trees and landscaping.  No damage and very good cleanup.

The 3rd tree was added to the job once the crew arrived and there was no problem in adding it on to the original estimate while the crew was there.  They very skillfully maneuvered their big wheeled Bobcat style loader filled with brush around a tight corner next to the garage with absolutely no damage to any structure.  Their clean up after the removal was quite thorough and they left very little trace of brush behind in the yard or in the street around their chipping machine.  No more than the expected wear on the lawn area that they had to repeatedly drive over with the loader.  I'm sure it'll come back in no time at all.  We had also had them out 20 some years back to remove 4 dying elms overhanging the house and were very pleased with their price and service then as well as now.

We had used K.C. Groves at least 2 other times in the past to trim our 3 mature maples and we were completely satisfied with their work. We had them come out in April to trim the 3 trees again. We don't have a fence so they were able to bring in their truck with a boom right into the back yard, protecting the grass with plywood sheets. They were able to reach all parts of the trees. They were done in a couple of hours including cleaning up all the debris. The cost was reasonable and we were again very satisfied with their work.

This is the way to get work done.  The estimator had tagged limbs to be trimmed before I even realized he was at the house.  The crew showed up and trimmed quickly, cleaning up (chipping) all limbs.  We wouldn't have needed to be home.

They were well priced; fair to some people.  They arranged everything at a reasonable price.  They are local to the area and are quite well known.

They had reasonable prices and were super knowledgeable. The clean up was fine, there was no mess.
