About us

We are a full service salon, spa and art gallery, located on the edge of downtown Minneapolis between Loring Park and Nicollet Mall. This central location allows for your easy commute by way of foot, bike, bus, or car – especially with off-street parking available for your convenience! The space itself is characterized by an interesting history that lends itself to a distinctive layout. Originally, in the 1960′s the building was a car wash. The space now features high raw ceilings and a fully-functioning garage door, as well of other facets that are reminiscent of the building’s history. Our staff members are highly creative and passionate about their career and using their skill as an art. This translates to one-of-a-kind services with an artistic design. The art gallery supports this environment, and allows you and your service provider alike to be inspired by the rotating works of art, or at the very least be visually entertained during your experience! All of the artwork is offered for sale, and represents local artists of a variety of media. Jungle Red focuses on results along with the health of your body, hair, skin, and nails in the services and products offered. Our goal is to provide a customizable service to meet each customer’s unique needs, in a way that is skillfully achieved by experienced and well-educated professionals. The products used during your service and available for your home-care regimen support this focus on quality and health, and compliment your specific goals.
