Jim Mondoux was prompt in contacting me, coming to do his bid, and was always very polite and courteous. He is a licensed contractor and said he has been in the business for 30 years. As an independent, his prices were lower than the other bids I got (as he does his own sales work). He showed up when he said he would or called. He also let me know where I was in the line up of his work schedule. Considering that this was a big job and took about 2 weeks to complete, it was nice to have someone so pleasant here. He was always receptive to my questions or concerns - recognizing that this was a significant outlay of money for me. He went out of his way to reassure me that it would turn out just as I wanted - and it did. Several other people on my block have since had him do work on their house and they have been equally satisfied. He has also built several decks in our neighborhood. We all think he's great! His clean up after the job was very good!
