John showed up at 9 am and started to prepare the site with his partner Tom showing up at 9:30. John and Tom replaced my six basement windows. They worked until 8 PM. John and Tom do not work fast but with that you get a quality job. John only uses the best material importing a lot of his glass block from Europe. The craftmanship is second to none. This is the second time I have used John on a house I own I would not use anyone else. John is a bit eccentric but he really knows his stuff and you will not be disappointed with the work.

He is an individual guy with a lot of different glass blocks. He's very good and superb. He was particularly good at working with caulking the glass blocks. All the basement windows had three sections, so the old ones were being replaced. I wanted three foot size ones and not the typical set of squares so that it would look like the other ones. I worked with him and he was willing to do it. He was very precise about his work and it was all properly done. He also caulked the glass blocks with he is really good at. He was good and flexible enough to work with.

John came promptly to give an estimate. He made a thorough inspection, discussed with us the unknown factors that might increase the amount of his estimate, and gave us a written estimate. It took him a two or three weeks to build the windows, but when they were ready he called, and he and a crew man showed up promptly to install them. They spent most of the day, but at the end everything was done neatly and professionally. He even repaired a few small cracks in the porch foundation on his own. There was a $60 addition to the estimate because of problems he encountered, but he had warned us of this possibility at the start, and we felt it was fair and appropriate. Nice job.

John and his partner removed both windows and found several unexpected problems. The made me aware of the problems and had the material on hand to replace the wooden header that we rotten on the top of both windows. They found cement problems with one window and insects on the other and took great care to eliminate the problems for me. They are very detailed oriented and committed to doing a good job.
