We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it was okay. It wasn't anything special. They didn't charge us more than the big deal. We could have done it ourselves.

They workers were on time, friendly and professional and did the work quickly and it looks great still two years later.

Time line was longer than budgeted for but with price and overall outcome it was worth it.

The owner came out March 20th 2012, took measurements and we discussed what my plans were.  I'm hardy so I was going to build the deck myself.  Plus the Big Deal / Service I purchased was only for the Custom Patio/Deck Design with Measurements & Plans.  So I think he was not to happy that we would not be doing the deck build.  He told me it would be a week or two and he would email me the design and plans.  A few weeks went by and I had not heard from him so I called (left messages) and email with no reply.  Then a few month go by and still no word from him about the deck design and plans.  It took me one email on 6/20/2012 stating that I was going to contact the BBB (Better Business Bureau), giving a negative review on Angies List, plus a refund if I didn't hear from him in a week.   I thought that was pretty fair.  The very next day I received an email saying that "Sorry for the delay- I will have the deck design and plans soon."   I received the Deck Design with Measurements & Plans via email on 7/5/2012.

Everything went well.  They were courteous and on time, and they did a good job with the caulking.

Nothing out of the ordinary to report.  I purchased a Big Deal.  They came and patched/cleaned up the grout in the bathroom and around the sink in the kitchen.  There were no major problems with either.  They did the job satisfactorily.   I did ask their advice about a bathroom remodel, but wasn't impressed with the answer, so I probably wouldn't hire them again. 

Working with Jonathan was great. On day one of the demolition, he uncovered major structural problems and plumbing issues associated with a previous owner's intitial DIY of the bathroom. Jonathan called me right away, and laid out a plan of action, and got an estimate of the additional work. All along, he showed that he wanted to complete the project right, so there were no problems in the future. He continually thought one or two steps ahead. I chose onyx tile, which is an unusual choice, so he researched the issuesdealing with onyx, from cutting to the appropriate type of grout. His tiler, Curtis, did a phenomial job on the onyx tile, and it is beautiful. He no problems with permits, because he did thing correctly to begin with.  I would recommend him to anyone. The bathroom is stunning, and thanks to Jonathan and Curtis.

I just needed some new caulking around the bath areas in both bathrooms. It worked out just fine. They came out, did it, and did a good job. They gave me some good advice, because I was trying to figure out how to cure the mildew problem. They were helpful and honest about what they could and could not do. They did the best they could. It was good. It is holding up. They were right on time. I would use them again.

The price was good.

JNJ Carpentry did an awesome job for us. Took a day and a half and everything was perfect when competed. Everything was done as promised. They cleaned up after the job, it was like they weren't ever there. Jonathan even provided us advice on tiling we decided to do on our own. We will use JNJ on any future jobs we decide to do.

Both of the gentlemen that came out were wonderful.   They did the work and explained what the could and couldn't do and they then cleaned up after themselves.  Great job and yes I would hire them again.

It went well.  The owner was personally on the job with an assistant.  He did the required repair work.  Service was friendly. He pointed out some other repair issues that we needed to attend to, but was not high pressure.

Professionally done - fast - 2 guys sent and really wasn't much for one to do as this was a small job, just wanted to make sure no leaks reached ceiling.

It went well. They were able to fullfil and complate some work I need done for long time. It still looks good.

It went fine and quickly. The caulking they did stopped a puddling of water that was happening behind the shower drywall. However, I didn't realize grout restoration didn't include getting rid of mildew, so it was quick work, since I didn't have much for them to do. They clearly told me mildew removal requires a steamer and is different than restoration, so it wasn't their fault that I misunderstood what could be done.

It went fine.......Jonathan was a tad slow on the emailing/phoning stuff upfront but then again I wasn't really pushing it either.  I had plenty of time and having previously worked in the construction industry several years ago, I understand that contractors try to plan and schedule work so that they can group certain types of jobs and locations.  Once we set a date and time Jonathan was excellent at keeping us in the loop even when he only gonna be maybe 5-10 minutes late.  The work was excellent and he gave us an honest opinion that we would be good for a few more years before we needed to think about replacement.  We also had him quote on adding a splashback in our kitchen and I'm pretty sure we'll go with him at this point.  A really big deal for us was that Jonathan and his foreman are both normal.........yep.......that's a biggie!!!  My wife met them the first day because I had to work and she sent me a message early on that she felt very comfortable with both guys.  They were polite and considerate (taking off shoes and stuff) and she felt really good about their interest and efforts.  That's a big plus, in my book attitude counts for a lot....people don't have to be perfect but it's nice to meet "real" people just trying to make an honest living........

Getting the job scheduled was a little challenging because there's not a dedicated office manager or scheduler. I tried to phone a few times and email to get the job scheduled. I almost gave up and asked for a refund. Finally was able to reach Jonathan on the phone in the early morning and book a time. Work was done by Jonathan (owner) and assistant.  They were both pleasant and friendly and the work was satisfactory. On the fence about using this company again because of the difficulty in scheduling and availability.

We bought a coupon to have JNJ re-grout our tile shower. It took ages for them to contact us back, and longer to find a date they could actually come, after a couple of cancellations.
We knew that it would take more work than what the coupon would cover and agreed to pay for them to redo the entire shower. Needless to say, they did not finish the job - though they claimed they did. I am not sure what we paid them for, but we had to pay someone else to do the job.
My dad was going to buy a similar coupon for JNJ the next time it was offered; I'm glad he asked me first because I told him not to purchase!
Note: I can't remember the exact date of service or how much extra we paid, but it was last spring.

He was pleasant to work with, however I did have to call him to remind him that we were waiting for the design and bid.  Which he provided for us a week later.  Because of personal reasons, we decided to postpone this project.

It was well-done from start to finish. Good and efficient.

They came out and inspected my roof. They did some sealing and gave me a quick overall assessment of my roof.

It took a very long time to get the promised plan, which I did not use.
