In the beginning we went with Jand J because their price quote seemed the most reasonable of the 3 or 4 that we gathered and they responded to our email inquiries almost immediately. As the job went on, that level of responsiveness proved to be one of their best attributes. We were always impressed by their quick response times whenever we sent them questions. Their carpentry work is excellent, their attention to detail is top notch, and they hold all of their subcontractors to their high standards. We also really appreciated their flexibility--we had a baby on the way and needed to have all major construction work done in our place before we brought home a newborn. Jand J went out of their way to get the job on their schedule in a way that worked for us. Overall, we were very pleased with their work, would hire them again, and would recommend them to others without reservation.
