+ -1 moreThis is a unique and very conscientious husband-wife team, i.e., Sherrie Irmiter (the design portion) initially called us to arrange an appt. for Chuck Irmiter (the contractor portion) to come and look at the project we hoped could be done. Chuck arrived at our house right at the appt. time. After looking at the project, he called Sherrie, who then made arrangements to come and talk with us about the design of the project. About 1 week later, we met with Sherrie, who had drawn up the design plans for the project. We were very happy with the way she was able to "fit" everything into the space and she listened to our wants/needs. Once we got underway with the project, Chuck made sure to minimize the dust/debris in the rest of our small house (we were living in the house during the 3-month construction period). He cleaned up etc., as he and his assistant went along, and always left everything neat/tidy. We were very pleased with how the project went and how it looks now!
Description of Work: Irmiter Remodeling first came to take a look at the project we hoped to have done. They drew up plans for remodeling our entire 2nd floor (at no charge). After a few modifications to the plan, we hired Irmiter Remodeling to gut our entire 2nd floor down to the studs. Based on the plans, the 2nd floor was reconfigured and they installed new woodwork/baseboards, built-in drawers/storage, energy efficient windows and sheetrock throughout. They also created a 3/4 bath where none had existed previously, which included plumbing to the 2nd floor, shower, sink and pressure-assisted toilet. All woodwork/baseboards/windows were stained to match, the walls were primed.
