+ -1 moreThe job started out fine. Terry (main representative) was positive, responsive, and overall I felt comfortable that he knew what he was doing. However, about 1/2 way through the job, things went south. He stated he wouldn't be staining the entire fence, but the contract said he would. He continued to make reference that the fence wasn't fixable, and I would always have problems with it, etc. Once the work was complete and I inspected it (it appeared fixed, all latches were working, the doors aligned, etc.) and I paid in full, both the shed and the fence slowly started slipping again, and within 2 weeks, they were broken again. The fixes were not sustainable. I called him several times, he stopped by, Jimmy rigged the shed and the fence, told me some more things he could do (separate charges), etc. His work was poor, and I would NOT recommend him. I will likely pursue legal action.
Description of Work: Job 1 was to repair a broken shed, primarily so the door would latch and lock appropriately. One of the sides of the shed had started to slip, and became angled, therefore not allowing the doors to align and the lock mechanisms to work properly. Job was to straighten shed corner by jacking up the shed, realigning shed well, anchoring the wall, reattaching the door, and aligning. This estimate was for $164.20. Job two was to repair a broken fence door, as well as some of the boards that had come loose from wood warping. This estimate was for $618.80.
