He's great to work with. We have 3 small dogs, and he's done work for us twice to replace fencing that allowed them to escape. Excellent quality and a reasonable price, highly recommended!

We recently worked with Steve Jones at Hoyt Fence to repair our aluminum fence, which a hit-and-run motorist demolished. Turned out our original fence manufacturer didn't do repairs so we found Steve on Angi's. Steve was nothing short of miraculous. He stopped by within 24 hours to assess the damage, contacted the original manufacturer to get quotes, pulled out and repaired the damaged fence sections to avoid injuries, ordered the replacement fence materials, and then installed the new parts and repaired the connecting joints. He did an excellent job and everything he said he would do and kept us informed throughout. I've referred his name to another condo building already. It couldn't have been easier or more productive working with Steve--awesome job! Thanks!

Steve first came out to provide an estimate on a Saturday. His price was lower than all other companies I contacted. He stopped by before starting the job to go over everything again and remembered very well the details of my yard. He started exactly when he said he would, despite terrible weather (cold rain and snow!). He completed the job after working 4 days, with a weekend off in between to let the concrete harden. My new fence is even better than I expected!

After ripping out an in-grown post and wire fence, a split rail was installed.
It was not the easiest of projects as the terrain was uneven. 
My request was for an inconspicuous gate rather than a standard
issue and Steve was able to fashion one in line with the fence.
He was easy to work with and we are totally pleased with the end result.

Removed the old split rail fence and replaced it with a new one.  Steve did a great job of selecting nice pieces of wood fencing.  After removing the old fence Steve and Nick were very precise in measuring, leveling, and getting the fence just where we wanted it.  We couldn't be happier.  The fence looks beautiful!

Extremely well. They finished the job in a few days (from setting the posts to the installation of the fencing). Steve (owner of Hoyt Fence) and his crew were wonderful to work with every step of the way from beginning to end and the fence is beautiful! Steve did a FANTASTIC job from start to finish. He is very detail oriented. I appreciate that he took ownership of the project as if he was building the fence in his own backyard. He is a great guy to work with. We chose him because of his attention to detail and the thorough assessment he made of our yard and shared with us what needed to be done. These things really set him apart from other people that gave us an estimate. If you want it done right and with pride go with Steve!

Steve fixed the two chain link fence gates within a week of me calling him. The gates had slowly been deteriorating over the years and one was difficult to use and one was no longer useable after this awful winter. Steve repaired the difficult to use gate so it now swings properly and I don't need to struggle with it daily. He needed to take the other gate with him to fix it because it had entirely fallen apart. Steve brought back the rebuilt gate and re-hung that.
I appreciated that Steve gave me two options on how to fix one of my gates. He had a Plan A and a Plan B in which he described the work in detail and estimated them both so I could make an informed decision. Our gates haven't looked this good or worked this well since we moved into the home five years ago! I would definitely hire Steve again and would recommend him to others.

Steve replaced 3 cedar fence posts which blew down over the Winter. We would hire him again for fence work.

I was in no hurry and since it was a smaller job they did work as they had time which was what we had agreed on. Everything went well and I was very satisfied.

Steve was professional, responsive, with good follow up. Work was done in one day with good cleanup. Work quality was excellent. Price was not the cheapest quote but was worth the efficiency and quality.

It went very well. Steve was responsive and did good, fast work. His pricing was good, not the cheapest quote that I had but by far not the most expensive. I had one board bow and he told me that he would be over to replace the board. My only complaint, and a minor one at that, would be to request he communicate a little bit better. The gates turned out different than I had anticipated, not bad, just different. In the end, I would use him again if I had another fence to put up and I would recommend that people call him and use his services. He used quality products and built the fence board by board. Call Steve if you want a cedar privacy fence.

The service was great. They worked well with me as I was building a retaining wall at the same time. They were flexible with scheduling.

We had an excellent experience. Steve was very responsive to my phone calls, responding to my voicemails promptly. He was able to come out within a few days after I called him for an estimate. His estimate was the cheapest that we found, and he also seemed to be the most enthusiastic about performing the job. When we finally decided to use him, he did a great job of communicating with me to let me know when he could start the job, and he was also able to work with our busy schedules. Within the week, he came out and set the posts. He initially said that he probably wouldn't be able to complete the fence until about a week and a half. However to our surprise, he was able to come out a few days later (on a saturday) and fully complete the job by mid-afternoon. We were highly impressed with the quality of the fence, and how fast he was able to get the job done. He even cut out all of the old fence that needed to be removed, even though I told him that I was planning on doing that. We were very pleased with the quality of his work, professionalism and communication.

I had several estimates for the replacement of my fence. Steve came in with a very fair price and was personable and professional during our phone calls and meetings. I hired him right away and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. My fence was done in a very timely fashion and is absolutely beautiful - better than I'd imagined.
