Dena and her team have done a great job. We waited to see how things went before doing scheduled cleanings and they exceed my expectations. The house is more clean than if I had done it myself! She listens and does exactly what we ask. They have a way of making my house shine. We have tried other companies and no one makes my white kitchen sink spotless like they do! They are a fair price too. My only challenge is they take a bit of time getting back to you when you leave a voicemail--they are quite busy. But they will respond and are very professional.

Tony and Mike (I'm sorry - I think it's Mike but I'm not sure - I'm so bad with names!) got here a few minutes before the scheduled time and got right to work.  They know their business, that's for sure.  They cleaned everything top to bottom, much more thoroughly than I ever would.  It seems like *every* surface was vacuumed, scrubbed cleaned, or wiped down.  Tony said that they automatically wash kitchen and bathroom floors.  They also washed our living room floor at my request.  We have a large 3-story house, and it took a total of 14 hours to clean.  LOTS of vacuuming dust all over, and cobwebs, too.  It's such a huge relief to have a clean house.
Here's an example of Tony's conscientiousness: it turns out his calculations for the total cost included two extra hours by mistake.  He called not long after he left to apologize and offer to come back to get a new check.  I was heading out so I asked if they could just mail a check for the difference, and that's what they'll do.  He didn't need to call me - honestly I wouldn't have caught it.  So I really appreciate that, and it shows his integrity in managing their business.
I've hired two other cleaners prior to Housecare Extraordinaire.  This is my second time with them, and I won't hire anyone else again.

The quality of service is very good. Cleaning has been very good and we've scheduled them to return every 3 weeks. The only complaint I have is getting Dena on the phone to schedule appointments. It took 3 calls to get a return call to get started. 2 calls to get a return visit. Otherwise the cleaning service is very good. We plan to continue working with them.

We hired Tony and Dena in 2013 to take over the housecleaning for our home after we parted ways with our previous cleaning crew (who were frankly terrible cleaners, despite glowing reviews on Angies List). We actually learned about them from our neighbors (and not Angies List for once) and hired them after meeting Tony just once. HCE is the real deal. They are on the expensive end of the spectrum for residential housecleaners in the Twin Cities, but they do by far the best job.
We pay for about 5 hours of cleaning at each visit to our home. They work diligently each time they are in the house cleaning every nook and cranny, including our ceiling fans and blinds. I am usually very picky about the quality of cleaning, and with our old cleaners I was emailing them feedback nearly every 2-4 weeks. I have NEVER had to discuss quality issues with Tony over the past year simply because they do a high quality job every time they clean our house. Thats totally worth the extra cost in my book.
In summary, HCE are great high-quality house cleaners that are worth every penny. They are always consistent in quality and hire good employees who care for your belongings as if they were their own.

Amazing!  I have been customers of Tony and Dena's for 4 years.  After going through many different cleaning services over the years, Tony and Dena have proved themselves the highest quality, reliable, and valuable service I have used.  It's like having my mom come over to clean - nothing is missed, every sparkles, and I breath a sigh of relief every time I walk into the house after they have been there.  I have two little boys using the bathrooms - one is potty training, the other is just a distracted boy :-) and the bathrooms are clean and fresh.  Because of food allergies, I cook nearly everything from scratch, making a complete mess of the kitchen - all of the splatters disappear and inspire me to cook again.  Tony and Dena keep me running a happy home!

The house was very clean when they left, but they didn't seem to take as much care with our belongings as I expected.  They nearly broke a kitchen light and had to spend 30 minutes trying to repair it.  Also, one of the workers broke a spindle on our staircase while vacuuming.  To be fair, the spindle clearly had broken in the past and was glued back together.  However, I believe the situation could have been avoided if he had worked more slowly.  Overall, it seemed like they were in a rush to finish the job and I didn't feel like their service matched what was promised.

The service is good.  They clean the whole house.  They dust, vamcum and clean everything else.  I would say they are flexible and let me know when it is time to have a cleaning.  Usually two to four people come out and it takes them about three hours to clean.

We had them clean our house prior to our daughter's wedding since we were going to be having a lot of company.  I can't believe what a fabulous job they did! They managed to make things  that we thought were beyond rescuing look brand new (like our shower doors, stovetop and kitchen cabinets) and the rest of the house looks better than it ever has. My husband can't get over how the bathtub sparkles! We definitely got our money's worth. We were absolutely thrilled, would highly recommend them, and plan to use them again.

Fantastic! My house has never looked so good. They cleaned things that I did not even realize needed to be cleaned. They actually scrubbed the floors by hand - wow.  Very thorough!

Within a day or two of contacting Housecare Extraordinaire, someone came out to do an estimate, and walk me through exactly what they would be doing. When I checked around, I found their pricing very competitive. They are very busy, so getting on their schedule took a few weeks, but well worth the wait. They sent in a team of 3, arrived on time, and left the house looking great. I can't emphasize the extent of the mess they were up against. The best way to describe it is that they cleaned as that of my OCD mother who was a cleaning lady, very thorough. They did exactly what they agreed to do. I prepared the house by taking things off of the surfaces so they could use their time deep cleaning. They were very kind about my dog who was in the kennel for part of the time. I left them to do their work because I believe housecleaners can get more done if I'm not here. 

Dena and Tony arrived with 3 additional workers and basically did a full-court press on the entire house! As rooms were cleaned the extra people left for other jobs. Dena cleaned my kitchen, including wood cabinets. Everything was just gorgeous when she was done. The stove Sparkled!!! My husband's favorite part was they dusted the 2" wood blinds. I was very satisfied with the work done. I am quite fussy and I found very little to complain about, and that was all very minor. Have recommended them to my friends.

Feeling like I'm always cleaning to keep on top of it but never getting a deep clean done is so frustrating. Not to mention I then never get to the extra cleaning projects like washing windows etc that always remain on my list. Tony and Dena (the owners) came along with two helpers and were at my house from about 1230-5 and when they left I couldn't help but call and text friends and family with what a great job they did. Dena wiped down every surface in the kitchen. My in laws commented that my cupboards were shining, I don't have to buy new burners pans after all, and my fridge looks brand new. Our bumpy fruit backsplash was hand polished and all the grime and food was gone from all the crevices. My wood floors were hand scrubbed and dried top to bottom. Cushions were all removed from all couches and pillows vacuumed and free of a single dog hair (and ours can really shed). They literally cleaned everything from top to bottom in my home. I even noticed the chrome shower curtain rings had been turned and polished. My friends call me frugal and it seemed like a lot of money to spend when I could just clean things myself. I will say the amount that they cleaned would've taken me all month to get done and then I'd have to start all over again. I just can't wait to have them back on a regular basis. Their professionalism and personalities really make me feel like I can trust them to be in my home when I'm not there and the fact that hey have a small team that helps them puts my mind at ease that I'll know who is in my home each time they come (not a new stranger every time). Loved loved loved the job they did and cannot wait to use them again and recommend them to friends and family.

Housecare Extraordinaire has been cleaning our house for about the past 5 months. They do a fabulous job! With other house cleaners I have used over the years, I have always felt I had to touch up something that was missed, but not with Housecare Extraordinaire. They are punctual, professional, and extremely responsive to individual homeowners' needs.

I could not have been more pleased.

Tony and Dena were absolutely fabulous. Our bathroom has NEVER sparked so much. Our bathtub is original to our 1940's house, and I had thought it was as good as it could be... rust stains and all, but I was wrong.  Dena managed to make the original drain and overflow actually sparkle, and the tub is so clean and fresh, it looks like we had it refaced (we didn't!).  And the windows were so clean, that it looked like they were open.  
They were exceedingly kind in coming in on a weekend to meet our very tight deadline, and were professional, friendly, and offered extremely high-quality services.  
We will DEFINITELY recommend them (In fact, we already have to our stager and our realtor) and bring them in whenever we need cleaning again in the future.  We are thrilled with their work and the results...  truly amazing. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

It was an extensive job and took longer than planed but I was not charged extra for the work. The work was excellent. I have passed on their information to someone already and would do so anytime.

They were very professional, very good. There were four of them, they did just an excellent job. When they left everything was spotless. They did wood floors, carpeting, ceramic, even on top of the cabinets. They were very nice to work with and did a great job.

I was a bit of a difficult or waivering customer. They helped me get it scheduled under difficult circumstances. They came early and stayed late. They took my coupon from Angie's list without any problems.
My only comaint would be that the cleaning itself was ordinary I can do it better myself. However for a normal inexpensive cleaning job these folks are great! Trustworthy efficient and really nice.

I've tried a few cleaners - and I really like Housecare extraordinaire's approach.   The are very professional, and treat cleaning as high art.  They always send at least two cleaners - which I like.... when there is only one person I have had concerns with their output and focus.   They aren't the cheapest - but they are very thorough and really care about the work they do.   I recommend them

Housecare Extraordinaire has been extremely easy to work with. They called back and answered all of my questions. They came out to give an estimate for an initial deep cleaning and regular cleanings. They always perform the work when they are scheduled and leave the house spotless. It's a joy to come home to a clean house. The entire team has been very friendly and professional.  I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Everyone showed up mostly on time (within 15 min of scheduled time).  Tony had come out previously to see our home to give us an estimate and while it wasn't the cheapest price he was very happy and willing to work on the price with us to make it more affordable.  One thing that really impressed me is that I called many places who just wanted the square footage of the home and they wanted to quote me over the phone.  Tony said that he didn't do business like that - he wanted to make sure he "knew" the home and what we would really need prior to cleaning it.  He took me through each room and area of my home and made a detailed list of what was important to me.  The entire crew was wonderful - I don't think I've ever seen a group of folks work harder, on their hands and knees to give us the best service for the money.  It was so nice to work with a local company where the service itself and their relationship with you was at the top of their list.  He stuck to the price he quoted and did a fabulous job.  Made moving out less stressful and made us feel that we were leaving our home in amazing shape.  I was impressed.
