Installer, Russ, did a beautiful job. He moved and replaced the larger pieces of furniture. He worked alone for 2 of the 3 days it took (at my request, to allow for my removal and replacement of smaller items). Seams are invisible, the pattern is perfectly aligned, the installation is taut, and Russ cleaned up nicely. Although I am not usually sensitive, the new carpet caused me a severe allergic reaction. Fortunately, this responded to treatment with over-the-counter medications. I reported my reaction to the Home Valu sales woman who didn?t offer much more than sympathy and excuses. Another carpet professional advised me to seal product remnants in plastic in the event that I need to make a claim when my house is closed up for the winter. Promotional materials advertised flat installation fee with ?no hidden charges.? However, there were extra charges for installation around 4 radiators.
