Todd was such a nice guy. Very personable. He was neat and clean and really knew what he was doing. Would highly recommend HiTec Electric.

They were very responsive and willing to take the time to give a bid for a small job like this, other electricians I contacted wanted to go by the hour and didn't sound that interested. Two of their guys came and were able to handle it quickly without any damage to the walls or dirty fingerprints.

On Friday afternoon, Ryan from HiTec Electric answered my call on the first ring and was at my house within half an hour. Ryan was friendly, professional, and fixed the problem in 20 minutes. His pricing was more than fair! The big outfits were refusing service unless I paid a hefty “emergency” fee. I’m glad I went with the local outfit. If you live near St. Louis Park, call HiTec Electric first! A+

We were very pleased with HiTec ? they were very customer,
job-oriented and did not have ?dollar signs? in their eyes, which we?ve
experienced with another electrician in the city. We gave them a difficult challenge, and they
had the equipment and expertise to pull it off ? routing a cable (for TV) from
the basement to a second-story bedroom (installing a wall jack) WITHOUT
drilling through any floors, which is the common, easy, and damaging way to do
things. Took advantage of a clothes chute,
brought cable up to attic, then down inside the wall. Attic had a thick floor and lots of insulation.

I had removed a formica backsplash in my kitchen and was planning to install a ceramic tile backsplash. There were 3 outlets on the backsplash, and they were at different heights. I wanted them moved so that they were all the same height, and would look good with the ceramic tile. Todd and his partner did the work, and seemed very knowledgeable. But after the tile was installed, it became obvious because of the tile grout lines that one outlet was actually a half inch higher than the other, and they were only 16 inches apart! Another guy did come back and fix it, but did a sloppy job. I ended up adjusting the box myself. I expected much better work from professional electricians. And the cost was much higher than expected. I would have complained more at the time, but the countertop installation had so many problems, I concentrated on that.

They are awesome. We've used them a number of times. They are very good and very fair. They tell us what they are going to do and they do it at a reasonable price. We have been very, very pleased with them. We would use them again without question.

There was nothing that we disliked about this company. If anything wasn't quite right, the owner, Peter, was extremely responsive to make it right.

He arrived on time and told me that the switch was over 50 years old so the wiring on the house was fine. He replaced the switch and even though he does not do HVAC he went and diagnosed the problem with the AC was the fan had stopped operating. All and all a very good experience.

It went fine. No problems, large crew so it took no time.

The whole process went fine. He's a nice guy, obviously expert, no problems at all. He consulted with me on any obstacles (as there always seem to be in remodeling), and never bothered me with anything trivial. The kitchen turned out great, and a big part of it is that you can adjust the mood with the flexibility of the lighting. It was all done with nice quality components.

Eric came out to look at the job right after I called him. Because our water heater was leaking, time was of the essence. He was able to coordinate with the plumber to get the job done immediately. He was very professional and efficient.
