Hayne Roofing

It was an absolutely awful experience from start to finish. After 2 years of asking them to come back and fix the very substantial leaks in the garage and kitchen, they stopped returning my calls. Kevin Nelson was the Hayne contractor. He is not a roofing expert but continued to act as though he was. My garage roof was not leaking before they replaced the roof. It has not stopped leaking since they replaced it. Kevin is arrogant and refused to call in an actual roofing expert. He continually insisted that the problems were with my house and not with their work. When I had a roofing expert come out, they quickly saw the problems that Kevin and Hayne created. When Hayne  built my new chimney they did not build a chimney saddle to tie it into the roof line to prevent leaking. My kitchen ceiling is now ruined and needs repair. They also installed the flashing upside down around the chimney and between the garage and the house.Which is the actual cause of the leaking. Not the crazy excuses Kevin continued to give me the past 2 years.
When they were removing existing brick from the ffont of house and garage, they assured me they would not damage shrubs and perennials planted there. I offered to move them and they said it was not necessary. Then their crew proceeded to pull off the bricks and let them drop on my landscaping - damaging and killing several shrubs and plants.  They also helped themself to using my plastic garden cart for hauling away brick debris - ruining it. When I asked to be reimbursed for actual damaged shrubs and plants they gave me $100 and told me that their lawyers would sue me if I expected to receive actual compensation.  
I would never, ever, ever use this company for anything. I can't believe they are actually on Angie's list.
