Peder and Luis have done almost all the painting at our house, interior and exterior, along with some carpentry work. Excellent work, reasonable price. After a while we didn't bother getting other bids; we just rehired Hallberg Painting.

I called Peder for a bid and within a few days he e-mailed me the information. He was able to start the following week. Midway through the project I changed the color of the trim which, along with rain, added an extra day or two to the project. Peder was able to help me pick a color that worked better with the house and shingle colors. He also measured my screen doors for me in the event that I would replace them while he was there, which I did not (three week back order). However, he would have come back and hung them if I would have asked. The only problem I had was with the communication of how the trim was to be painted. I thought I was getting it repainted as it was with front face and sides but when Louis started painting the trim Peder told him only the front face (takes less time). I asked for the sides to be cut in and he complied. Other than that mis-communication all went smoothly. I thought both Peder and Louis were great to work with. Louis was meticulous in his painting and the house looks great.

They were very timely; they were here on time and finished on time. The quality of the work at least a nine on a 1 to 10 scale.

Good. Nice work. Very good about the clean up. Had some mix-ups (they started prepping our garage, which we hadn't contracted for, for example), but in each case, the painters straightened it out in my favor (finished off the scrapping on the garage at no charge, for example).

The workers at Personal Touch were conscientious and very personable. They understood what I wanted. They were very up front and they really tried to explain things well. They would discuss any issues with me. They did a pretty good job.

Peder and his co-workers are all extremely pleasant, calm and patient, and do outstanding work. They are efficient but don't take shortcuts. The cabinets wound up being a custom job they spent days on. They came to my house to work in between other jobs, which was fine with me as I was not in any particular hurry, and the work stretched out from December to April. They moved furniture, cleaned up after themselves, fixed a couple of broken hinges - just generally made everything as close to perfect as possible. Peder has a good eye, we had lengthy discussions about colors and coordinating them from room to room, and the results are beautiful. Compliments abound. He is not shy about giving his opinion which I appreciate.

The job was smooth, the finished product was very nice and the price was great. They took the time to make sure everything was to my liking and touched up all the spots I mentioned. It was fun having them around.
