Great. Came out the next day and did the work in just a couple house. Great job!

Our gutters overall are in good shape but one gutter downspout on our home was in a bad location where there was not enough space for the water to flow away from the foundation. I hired gutter systems to correct this issue. Bruce was very responsive and communicated well throughout. Other companies that I spoke to were uninterested in a small job and apparently would only want to  bid for replacing all the gutters, which was completely unnecessary. Bruce's solution was similar to what I was thinking, which was to seal off the downspout at the roof level and re-pitch the gutter to direct water to a different downspout. So I hired him and after a couple of rainy days this seems to have worked well to get the water flowing away from the foundation. If I do need more gutter work done in the future my first call will be to Gutter Systems.

I thought he did a pretty good job. He didn't really follow through when I called him initially but then he showed up when he said he'd show up. The quality seems fine. I would not say they were super professional like I never got a bill from them. I had to call and say, "Hey are you going to send me a bill?" Then, they emailed me a bill. They were less expensive than other ones.

Bruce said he'd be here about 7:00-7:30 AM. He was here at 7:00 AM. He began working and about an hour later an additional worker showed up to help. I had old steel gutters on the house and garage that were rotting and leaking rust on the fascia and stucco siding. Bruce was able to spray paint rust spots on the fascia to make it look presentable. He had a spray solution that usually took the rust off the fascia but the rust stains were so embedded that the solution didn't work. Not his fault. They finished the work by about 12:30 PM. And as an Angie's List member he gave me a 10% discount to bring the bill down to $2,000. I was very pleased with his work and the price.

I was at work and when I came home, the new gutter was in place and looked nice.

Bruce Donatell, the owner, was punctual, reliable, and flexible. He showed up when he said he would.  He had a professional attitude. He worked very efficiently. He gave us two choices for gutter covers. We went with the solid cover.  The old existing gutters were very disgusting to take down.  Bruce had a positive attitude the whole time, and he cleaned up afterwards. I would use this company in the future.

I first found this firm on Angie's list last year, and because if its outstanding record, I hired it to install new gutters on my house in Kenwood and my daughter's house in Linden Hills. We expected excellent service based on prior reviews and that is exactly what we got. Now, I had a smaller job, as described above, but I would not entrust it to anyone but Bruce Donatell, the owner/operator of Gutter Systems.
The gutter business is an outgrowth of the aluminum siding business for many operators, and that business had many participants who were untrustworthy. I continue to have reservation about the big advertisers in the gutter business, and that's why I turned to Bruce. Bruce is as honest, hard-working, competent and fair a provider of building services as anyone could hope to have in any of the trades or professions.  A+ on all counts. His professional skills, in my opinion, are unsurpassed in this field. Also, since he is not wed to a particular brand or style of gutter protection, he will offer the consumer a menu of options and help her/him select the one that makes the most sense for them.
Frankly, I don't see why anyone would use any other firm than this one for their gutter needs.

The job was done when promised and at estimated cost.  Very happy with work done.

This is the second time we have used Gutter Systems. 
Again, the work was done very professionally and efficiently,  Clean up afterwards was well done.  The final results are quite attractive and provide us with much peace of mind.  The price was reasonable, in our opinion.

Bruce came out promptly & gave us an estimate to add gutters to our garage. We were able to schedule within a week or two. He did a great job & kept in touch. I plan to use him again for our house gutters.

Bruce was prompt and efficient.  He came and performed all of the work himself.  If you're looking a guy with a fancy truck and brochures.  This is not the guy.  But if you don't care about all the frills and want someone to get the job done.  He seemed to do a good job.
His quote was simply on the back of his business card and a little hard to read, but he did what I asked.  He also didn't try to sell me anything that I didn't need.  The only problem I had was clean up after the job was done.  There were a bunch of old screws left in the driveway.  Fortunately, my son found them before they were in one of my tires.

They came in and got the job done at the price quoted. Everything turned out well. The scheduling was good.

Bruce was easy to get a hold of.  He was honest in his communication and knowledgeable.  When he first stopped by he gave a bid on the back of a buisiness card, but once we hired him, he wrote up an official one.  He was able to match the new gutters to our new paint job perfectly.  He  came a day later than we had set up originally to remove them, but I believe that was due to weather pushing back other jobs?  It worked out fine, because our painters were pushed back as well.  The day of the installation he came early before work and walked through the layout.  He and another guy installed them.  As mentioned in other reviews, there were a few pieces of aluminum and a couple of nails to pick up afterwards.  No big deal to clean up though.  He assured us that if we had any concerns, he would come back out to address them.  So far after a couple of heavy rains, it appears everything is working great!  Great job and great price!

I called Bruce when we figure out the source of the water in our basement were the leaky gutters in the rear of the house. I found him through Angie's List and called him because he had good ratings and was available immediately.
I was really impressed by his commitment to solving our problem.
He came out to our house the day I called him. After checking things out, he told me what I already suspected: that the gutters in the rear would have to be replaced. He didn't have time to do the job that day, as he had squeezed me into his schedule. But he patched the worst hole and promised to come back early the following week to finish the job - probably on Tuesday.
On Monday morning, I woke up to find out it was going to rain heavily that day. I was worried about whether I was going to end up with wet carpet in the basement again. But Bruce was ahead of me. He showed up at 9 a.m. with a helper and got to work. The rain started shortly after he arrived, but he didn't quit. He kept going - in a steady downpour - and managed to get the new gutter on the house and keep our basement from flooding again.
He came back two days later to finish the downspouts.
Bruce is a real pro. Next time I need any gutter work, he'll be the first - and likely only - guy I call.

Called Bruce at Gutter Systems yesterday afternoon and described the problem --- a large amount of water leaking from the second story gutter.  He asked for a description of exactly where the leak was so he could locate the problem if we weren't home when he came by.  Bruce arrived about 8 am this morning and took care of the problem.  I was very impressed that he was able to come and do the work so quickly.  With all the rain we've been having, I expected to have to wait at least a couple of days.

He was quick to provide the estimate and get out and do the work.  I came home from errands and found him working, as he was "in the neighborhood".  He cleaned everything up, installed seamless gutters and large downspouts and was responsive to my concerns.  He assured me he would fix anything that came up, so far so good.

It went perfectly fine. He made everything work as it is suppose too. I had someone come out last year to clean out gutters and fix anything that needed fixed and this year I have had some problems with my gutters leaking. Called Gutter Systems and they came out right away to fix the problem.

Informative and responsive I especially appreciated no high pressure sale pitch and responsive answers

Everything went like clockwork. I was most impressed because this was not a big job, and yet Bruce was very responsive.

It only took a couple of hours with 1 worker. Everything worked out fine and I'm satistfied.

Very easy to work with, priced very well and the entire process was 2 - 3 days.
