Some of the work was completed while the resident was out of town and everything was very professionally done.
It's hard to tell where there was any damage.
Great Northern worked with the insurance company to negotiate the difference between the insurance original estimate and the final cost of the work.
The residents (my daughter and her family) are completely satisfied.
GET AN ESTIMATE BEFORE YOU SIGN AND START WORK!!
My overall experience with GNR and their contractors was very good. I had two major issues: 1) I signed a contract for them to rebuild the house in the day of our house fire. Not the best time for anyone too make a informed, intelligent decision. I did do my do diligence and ended up continuing with GNR. DO NOT SIGN UNTIL YOU ARE SURE YOU ARE READY!! 2) I did not get an estimate or a budget. The estimate is straight foreword with you the insurance company and what ever builder you use. But remember the money is yours!! You have every right to have a budget from day one of your protect. Be sure to use the wiggle room and get everything that you want (within the budget or if you choose to pay for the extras that you chose). Again it is your money and you have the right to spend it how you choose and make the right choices for your family.
