About us

Gopher Grocery is an online grocer serving the Twin Cities Metropolitan area of Minnesota. It was founded in December of 2005 by William Orkin. Gopher Grocery now services residential customers, as well as businesses, childcare facilities, schools, and group homes across 103 zip codes in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul area. Gopher Grocery accepts online orders for next-day delivery within a one-hour time slot. Minimum purchase is $50. The delivery fee is $2 for orders under $100. For orders of $100 and up, delivery is free. Gopher Grocery sources items from local, ultra-efficient distributors. Groceries are kept cold and fresh for delivery through the use of insulated containers with dry ice. The company uses fuel-efficient vans, painted yellow with the company logo on them. Gopher Grocery delivers groceries directly to the consumer instead of leaving bins on porches or in lobbies.

Description of Work: The $2 is a delivery fee. Totally worth it. Way better deal than taking the busses.

I've actually been using Gopher Grocery for years but just noticed they were on Angie's List. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who has kids or is too busy to grocery shop. They are a lifesaver!
Description of Work: The delivery driver was on time and very friendly. More importantly, the groceries were great! The produce was better than I pick myself. I was very pleased.

I asked if they could switch to paper from the plastic bags and they could not but they took the plastic bags and they reused them for me. They are a little more expensive, but I have no complaints at all.
Description of Work: They have a service where you can fill out a selection of on line groceries and they will deliver it. I filled out the order and credit card information and they brought it to me. They asked for when I wanted it delivered and they delivered it within the specified time. I don't use a car and this is very helpful for me. I used them multiple times when the weather was bad.

The service staff was great. Their drivers were great, I switched to a different delivery company since their groceries were a bit higher than the other place I chose. Their website was not a user friendly as the other one either.

They are something I have looked for for years. They have a good variety and I suggest them to everyone.
Description of Work: They delivered groceries to me at my home. I can order on line and it will come the next. I order as needed.
