Freddy's Ready Sewer Service

The owner Reggie Crawford contacted me within an hour of my leaving a message on his voice mail. I informed him of the problems we were having. I was given an approximate price, for the services I would need. We agreed on a time and he was at my home at the arranged time. When he arrived, he wiped his feet thoroughly and did a walk through to see where the sewer line opening was located. He asked several questions about the issues I was having with the sewer pipes and then answered all of my questions. He used a tarp to cover my carpeted steps leading to the basement. His electric auger was used to clean out the roots in my main sewer line, from the house, all the way out to the street line. He then cleaned out the interior sewer line where the kitchen (upstairs) and laundry (downstairs) lines join together. All the services were completed in a little over an hour. I was completely satisfied with the services he preformed. My family and I have been using Freedy's Ready (formerly known as PRS Mechanical) for over 25 years. We have always had friendly, wonderful and prompt service from Reggie and also from his father (the previous owner).

They were a little late getting to our house. He was supposed to be at our house between 4 and 6 pm. I called the company at 6:15, they said he would be there soon and he was there at 6:30. He tried to snake the line between the shower and the washing machine but it didn't work. He brought in a large electrical machine "the big boy" which was able to extract the plug. Very courteous and friendly. He cleaned up after the job. The drain works well and I am happy.

I felt that PRS had acted unethically in charging me a service call fee for a trivial service. I am certain that I requested an estimate. When I called to complain, I essentially was told "too bad". The employees were able to tell me what would be involved in putting in the drain I thought I needed. I subsequently learned that their recommendations were out-of-code for St. Paul.

They did a fine job on fixing the hole. The prices were so much better than other companies that I had.

THEY RESPONDED THE DAY I CALLED. THE SERVICE PERSON WAS VERY HELPFUL AND COURTEOUS, INCLUDING HELPING ME TO MOVE A PIECE OF HEAVY FURNITURE TO ALLOW ACCESS TO THE SEWER CAP. I WAS IMPRESSED WITH THE SERVICE AND WOULD USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. I'M A NEW HOMEOWNER, SO I DON'T KNOW TOO MUCH ABOUT PRICING, BUT FOR SAME DAY SERVICE DURING THE HOLIDAYS AND 1 1/2 HOURS WORK WITH EQUIPMENT, I THOUGHT THE PRICE WAS GOOD.
