Exceeded all expectations

They were on time and did a great job of matching the new stucco color to my existing house stucco. Price was inline with other bids. Patrick is passionate about customer satisfaction, and was on the job sight for much of the project.

John responded for my request for bid.  It was a little difficult getting the bid info and communication was a bit slow throughout the job.  However, they were very professional and did an absolutely great job on the house.  I recently bought this house so stucco is new to me.  It was amazing to watch the process unfold.  It takes a long time to do stucco from start to finish, probably about 6 weeks in our case. 
They sandblasted the paint that had been put on the older portion of the house.  They put metal lath up on the new addition.  A first coat of stucco was applied to the lath and that requires at least 2 weeks to cure.  Finally, the finish coat with the color we chose was applied.  The crew was outstanding.  I have a very difficult next door neighbor and they went out of their way to make sure her property was not impacted by the stucco process. 
Aside from some trampled shrubs (I don't know how you could avoid that and don't hold it against them), everything turned out fantastic.  The exterior looked very tired before they did their work.  Now it looks absolutely beautiful.  I felt like we were in very good hands throughout the entire process.

They were punctual, did a great job on the exterior, cleaned up after they were done and the house looks brand new.

They were fast and did a good job. They came on time and got the job done fairly quickly. They were communicated and they got everything done actually sooner than they promised. They were also the cheapest stucco company that we contacted.

His team was very prompt and professional and they kept me informed during the project. Even when we ran into some issues with the project John was very straight forward and made sure we found the correct solution at the right cost to fix the problem. I will definitely be using Foley Exteriors for my stucco work in the future.

Foley Exteriors were prompt, the price was good, and when we had issues with the paint color they came back to try to fix it but it was hard to match an original color that is 50 years old. They did the best they could. 

Overall quite happy with the process and end product.   I got three bids and Foley was right in the middle.  Honest and NOT a 'salesman' like some large stucco companies in town.  Despite our inability to make a decision on a color, worked with us and showed great patience.  Will be doing a garage job next year and I know who I will call.

From start to finish, everything went great.  For such a big investment, we are quite pleased with the results.  The only reason I gave a B for responsiveness is because it took awhile for a callback initially (1-2 weeks) and I had to deal with an answering service.  There was alot of telephone tag.  Once I learned John's cell number, I didn't have to wait anymore!  They are very busy, so be patient, they are worth the wait!

I had two windows that had to be moved up about a foot to raise the bottom of the window sill above the kitchen countertops.  This caused a gap in the stucco on the exterior of the wall.  I called Donnelly Brothers and they returned my phone call the following day - they were in the neighborhood so we discussed what it would entail to fix the gaps in the stucco (about 3 x 2 feet in dimension).  They promptly emailed me a quote and I sent back an approval signature.  Within a week they were on site to do the work and finished within a couple days.  The quality of the work looks outstanding and the finish of the completed stucco accurately fits with the rest of the exterior. 

They were great.  They were very prompt, courteous, were very competitively priced.  They did an exact match to the stucco they were working on- you could not tell where the patch was! I have had them back three times now for more work.

We have been extremely pleased with Foley's work on our home.  Prompt, attentive service that exceeded our expectations.  We researched contractors, obtained multiple bids and spoke with previous customers who raved about the company.  We discovered at the start of our project that our chimney was failing and would have to be rebuilt.  An expensive surprise.  Patrick referred a few chimney masons and his referral lead us to an excellent chimney mason.   Beautiful new chimney, beautiful stucco work; we could not have been more pleased.  At the end of the project, Patrick came-over for a final inspection.  As we looked at the stucco work on our beautiful new chimney, our 5 year old daughter turned to Patrick and asked "did you build the chimney large enough to fit Santa?" .  Patrick didn't miss a beat, and responded "you know in my line of business I get that question a lot, and we absolutely did.  In fact we built a special ledge just for Santa's sleigh".  Our daughter laughed and said "Santa is magic".  It was a special moment for us, compliments of Patrick thinking on his feet.  This summer we are building a new garage.  Our one requirement for our contractor is that Foley do the stucco work!  

They replaced the rotted wood and replaced stucco. They did a good matching job.

 I had a deadline, imposed by the city to have the work completed. Foley came out immediately to give an estimate and offer solution to getting the new stucco to stick over tile (wire mesh had never been used due to not being able to nail into the tile).
They were very accomodating in getting the work scheduled within 2 weeks, arrived promptly, were very professional and courteous and completed on schedule. Still looks great and is holding tight 3 years later.

Patrick was very easy to work with, scheduling was easy, and Foley's bid was the lowest one we received. They showed up on time, worked very quickly, and cleaned up well. The quality was the best we could have possibly asked for. They will be doing all of our stucco work.

I am writing to update this review in spring 2015. Since Foley did our stucco work, we have had dozens of people (including professional contractors) comment on how impressed they are with the work they did. In particular, they matched the color of the old stucco perfectly and, to date, not a single person has been able to identify any of the seams. Really outstanding work! We had an issue where the stucco didn't adhere properly on a small part along the foundation, but they came out, diagnosed the problem and immediately fixed it at no cost. We are very happy with Foley and believe they are the best stucco company in the Twin Cities!

I called for a quote and John came to the house promptly and droped off the quote. I called to ask if he would come over and walk me through the quote, which he did promptly. We signed the contract that day and he explained the schedule would be based on weather, if it rained then other jobs could take longer. It took one day for the sandblasting, two days to dry, and two days to apply the stucco. After drying they came out and put a gray color on the foundation. The house looks great.

They were responsive, pleasant, and they cleaned up after themselves in the yard.

As above, we are exceptionally happy with the work that was done. The old house looks fabulous. The workers were timely, neat and very polite. They went beyond all expectations. Kudos and thanks.

It very well. I got two bids and Foley was about $2000 less than the other bid. Did a good job and cleaned up afterwards. Very helpful.

We researched stucco providers using Angie's List and references from friends. Foley was the best bid by a good measure and I found Patrick to be very punctual, honest, and knowledgeable. Patrick also had agreed to help work with our carpenter that we had originally planned to use to remove the old siding and repair any damage by agreeing to set-up his scaffolding for him (2nd floor work). When we fell out of our carpenter's schedule (he pushed us out), Patrick was able to jump in on very short notice and get the work done in 1 day that we expected to take 1 week from our carpenter. Foley quickly followed up after the inspection of the lathe work by the City inspector with the stucco work. Patrick even came back and told us the carpentry work turned out less than his estimate and reduced his price.

Very responsive to request for estimate and was able to accommodate short deadline to have started knowledgeable on how to proceed without using metal lath. Looks great.

They did a great job! I got three estimates and ended up choosing Foley because they really listened to what I wanted and offered a reasonable price. When they came out to do the work, they replaced a few small additional areas that I hadn't noticed at no extra cost. They did such an amazing job matching the color of the replacement to the existing stucco on my house, at first I didn't even notice that they had completed the work!

It was a good experience. They were professional and punctual.

Foley Stucco did a great job. The cost was much less than the other stucco companies I contacted.
