 + -1 moreI was very disappointed in this particular shop. I had used the fast frame store in Eagan for multiple jobs, but had moved and the Eden Prairie shop was more convenient. When I brought in my print, all they could do was to suggest neutral colors. They even told me that mats ''have to'' be neutral. I have many framed prints and paintings that I used unusual color combos and love them. I just got no help and finally left and took it to the Eagan store, where they had great suggestions and I love the outcome.
Description of Work: I had a print that I wanted framed. It had some unusual colors and was very modernistic, so I was looking for some help in colors and ideas.

 + -1 moreI'VE HAD SEVERAL THINGS FRAMED HERE. GEORGE DOES AN EXCELLENT JOB OF HELPING ME CHOOSE MATS AND FRAMES THAT GO WELL WITH THE PICTURE. I'VE BEEN PLEASED WITH THE OUTCOME EACH TIME.

 + -1 moreFASTFRAME LEFT A BAD TASTE FOR ME. I'VE SINCE HAD THE FRAME JOB APPRAISED IN 2 OTHER SHOPS. THE RANGE WAS $55-$68, INCLUDING PRESERVATION GLASS. OH, HOW I WAS FOOLED. BEWARE
Description of Work: ON 10/04/04 I STOPPED AT THE FASTFRAME STORE IN THE STRIP MALL ON THE CORNER OF HWY 169 AND ANDERSON LAKES PKWY. I HAD SEEN THE INSTANT FRAMING SIGN IN THE WINDOW, SO I THOUGHT I COULD GET A GOOD JOB DONE REASONABLY AND QUICKLY. I WAS WRONG ON BOTH COUNTS. SINCE THE IMAGE WAS ONLY 6''X15'', I WANTED SOMETHING QUITE PLAIN TO ALSO MATCH THE TASTES OF THE COUPLE FOR WHOM IT WAS A GIFT. I NEEDED IT NO LATER THAN 9 AM ON FRIDAY 10/8. AFTER ALL, THAT SHOULD BE PLENTY OF TIME FOR AN ''INSTANT'' FRAME JOB. ON 10/7, IT WAS NOT QUITE READY, BUT WOULD BE BY 9AM. ON MY WAY TO THE AIRPORT, I STOPPED TO PICK IT UP SINCE I WAS GOING TO THE COUPLE'S HOME OUT OF STATE. TO MY SURPRISE, THE FRAMING WAS OVER $111. AND IT WOULD NOT BE READY UNTIL 1PM. NEEDLESS TO SAY, IT WAS TOO MUCH MONEY AND TOO LATE.
