Unprofessional. We had some work done in our home, which gave us a couple months break of having cleaning people here. They wanted to charge more to come back and start over for the biweekly cleans. There were some specific spot they wanted money for I showed pictures showing them that it wasn't very clean. Must've been offended or something because now they won't schedule with me or return any text or calls. It's unfortunate.

They cleaned a one bedroom apartment. Two hours with two people. It was an Angieslist deal/coupon. October 30th 2019.

Fernando and his cleaning crew always do a great job. If I ask for something extra, they often do it without charging any extra. Their rate is much better than my previous cleaner, they are always on time, they are very quick and efficient, and everything is always clean and smells fresh when they are done.

They did a great job on an apartment. Will hire again.

Communication with Fernando was very good, but the "detailed move out cleaning" (as stated in the receipt) was terribly inadequate. Fernando assured me they would be able to complete the work in an afternoon. However, I don't think they fully understood that an "empty" duplex would not provide sufficient light for working past 4:00pm. Consequently, numerous areas were not adequately cleaned. I told Fernando NOT to clean the kitchen sink as it was going to be replaced, but one of his crew wasted a lot of time cleaning it and missed wiping out the drawers and cabinets. There were so many areas missed in the main floor bath that I can't list them all. And as far as I could see there was nothing done in the laundry room. The appliances were not wiped down and the laundry sink was filthy. Hopefully this review will help paint a picture for you of how dissatisfied I was with F&L .

We have used F&L Cleaning several times and have been happy with the results. Fernando and his mom are lovely people. The last time we had F&L out, they sent 4 people for a deep cleaning. Everyone went to work in a different area and they worked very hard. My issue was with only one of the cleaners. My daughter had a portable speaker plugged in charging in the kitchen. I saw it there when I was cleaning up prior to the cleaners coming. At some point while the cleaners were here both my daughter and I heard the speaker chime on and my daughter said it connected to her Bluetooth on her phone. A few minutes later she went to put it away but it wasn’t there anymore. I asked the cleaning gal who was working in the kitchen if she saw or perhaps moved it while cleaning. She said no. I knew it was there and now it wasn’t. I was questioning myself... Did I move it? Even though I knew I never touched it. My daughter didn’t touch it either. We both heard it go off when the cleaning person was working in the kitchen. She kept going in and out of the house carrying a bag of supplies. Now I was suspicious and didn’t know what to do. I called Fernando and told him about the situation and what I feared happened. I was nervous telling him, but realized it was a serious issue that needed to be resolved. I’ve never experienced a situation like this and was feeling violated... even though it was only a cheap speaker. He said the people who work for him are family. His aunt was working in the kitchen and he trusted them. I tried to respectful, but wanted to scream that someone on his team swiped a silly $25 speaker right from under our noses. And if they are willing to do that, what else would they take if we weren’t home. Anyway, reputation is everything in this business and I told him and his team that. When they were done cleaning, I mentioned to all of them that a speaker had gone missing while they were here, and I was feeling frustrated, so I deducted $20 from the cleaning fee (but still gave each of them a tip). I was very conflicted! Only one person was guilty, but they were all getting the talk. I didn’t want them to leave without giving me back the speaker, but short of calling them all liars and cheats and searching their vehicle, I had to take them at their word...even though I knew one of them did something with it. So after deducting the $20, they left. A few weeks later, my daughter found the missing speaker. It was hidden in a plant in the bathroom. I can only guess that whoever took it, “returned” it to the house after I asked about it. I’m not really into wrecking a company’s reputation, so not even this was going to make me give them a negative review. I knew a negative review of stealing could seriously hurt F&L, so I was hoping that my questioning them would make the offender think twice about doing it to another customer and consider how it would hurt Fernando and his mother. I changed my mind when I moved a box of apples on the counter and saw the damage done to my outlet cover! I had my kitchen faux painted and all of the outlet covers were painted as well to blend in with the wall. I moved the box and the paint was almost all scrubbed off of one of the outlet covers. It looks horrible...awful!!!! There is no way that this was an accident, because it would have taken a lot of effort and scrubbing to remove the paint. You can see the scratch lines. This intentional act of destruction is serious to me. It’s not necessarily an easy fix either. This is a faux painting job. The entire wall may need to be redone if I can’t find the right paint and glaze to make it blend in. While I still feel violated from someone trying to steal my family’s property, I am now really angry for the outright destruction of my property.

Fernando is very responsive and professional. He and his crew do a great job cleaning my house for much less than I was paying before.

The apartment was spotless by the time they were done. They did a beautiful job in a short period of time – I would hire them again or recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat!
