Executive Remodeling

1. This was our first big renovation. We weren't prepared for some of the decisions we needed to make before the project started. 2. Guidelines for what was expected of us before project began wasn't clear, such as selection of: backsplash, lighting , tiles etc. 3. Once project began Executive gave us a clear timeline with weekly updates. 4. Executive Remodeling staff was very courteous and respective as were their contractors. 5. They apprised us of what they were going to do with construction details i.e. - poly barriers, dust, etc. 6. They also had an excellent cleaning crew who did more than we expected. 7. We are extremely satisfied with the kitchen renovation and we will definitely have them involved in our other renovations.

The overall quality was great. The various workers were courteous. The project began in early August, but the actual work performed was sporadic until September perhaps due to sub-contracters vacations and/or availability for work. The actual completion was about a month past the estimate which complicated the move of belongings back into the house and it certainly didn’t help that we experienced a lot of snowfalls and colder than average temperatures. We knew we needed a general contractor for this big of a project and they were pretty good.

I would highly recommend Executive Remodeling for your next project. I hired them to remodel my basement and the results were outstanding. Very professional, on-time and on-budget.

They were really easy and great to work. We were really happy with the cost and the quality of the work. The lines of communication were open before, during and after the project. We knew what was being done and when. They were professional in every respect and I would use them again without hesitation!

We definitely enjoyed working with Executive Remodeling. They were always friendly and very responsive. We initially went with them because the gave us a reasonably priced and detailed estimate, so we knew exactly what we were paying for. Like any major remodel, there were a few hiccups, but they were more than willing to fix any errors at no cost to us. In the end, we were thrilled with our gorgeous new bathroom and enjoy using it every day!

Experience was very good! Communication was excellent, workers very professional, and quality of the job is very good. It took a little longer than I expected, but all in all I am very happy with the results. My new kitchen looks great!

Horrible experience. In the end left feeling very taken advantage of. If they showed up for 5 hours in a week that was a good week. Took twice as long as quoted. Terrible communications - updates rarely came & when did very rarely happened as told. Many things had to be done twice because of poor quality workmanship. At 4 months after the project was complete while I was taking a shower the water faucet fell off in the tub. It was just pushed on - none of the pieces needed to hold it in place were installed (just one small thing that has gone wrong). Tub had to be redone - no support on the under side. Back splash in the kitchen wasn't level - I redid myself. Counters had inch gaps between the bottom of the counter & cabinet tops - pulled & redone. We were told we'd be paid for any work we did ourselves. My wife demoed the bathroom cuz she just plain got tired of waiting on them to come. We put in many hours doing things but no credit. No nothing... Not even a thanks! The list just goes on & on. Contract wasn't fulfilled. Still to this day things in our contract not done & most likely won't be. We simply do not want them in our home again. In the end they threatened to sue us to keep us from posting about our experience..... Would NOT hire again nor recommend to anybody.....

We partnered with Executive Remodeling to finish the basement in our 1925 house that had never been finished. The basement was a difficult job due to the intricacies that come with an old house remodel. The work was completed about one month ago and we were amazed at the finished result. We had Executive add a family room, full bathroom, laundry room, and partially finished storage area and they exceeded every expectation we had and completely transformed the space. The ownership at Executive Remodeling changed hands right at the beginning of our project, so we were concerned when this happened, but stuck with them. The new and current ownership went above and beyond in discussing any detail or needed change to our project, gave at least one status update per week about the work completed that week and the plan for the following week, and stopped by our house countless times while the project was in progress to ensure that all sub-contractors did a satisfactory job. There were multiple occasions where Executive found a piece of work done by a sub-contractor that didn't fully meet their expectations and they called the sub-contractor back to ensure the work was completed in a satisfactory manner without us having to get involved or even noticing. As with any remodel, there were a few times when an unexpected cost occurred, but Executive explained the cost to us, the pros and cons of having the work done, and in some cases, even offered to share in the costs when it was a detail that was maybe over-looked or could've been discussed more thoroughly. I would recommend these guys for any home improvement job you are considering. We didn't know them going into our project and were apprehensive about that, but the team at Executive did a great job of building and earning our trust. We currently are working with them on an another potential front porch addition project. We strongly recommend them and their work ethic is second to none.

My home was part of the north metro hail storm last year and needed a roof, gutters, siding, and window wraps. We worked with Aaron on this and the work turned out great! The work was done in a timely professional manner and to our standards.

Project was well laid out ahead of time and completed to what we had envisioned. Contractors that were brought in did a fantastic job on the quality of the work!

Executive Remodeling is built of a team of efficient/ hard workers. I had three roofs done at my house in one day and they were extremely quick in completing them! I would definitely recommend them and hire them again myself! They were great when it came to dealing with my insurance company. All I had to do was sit back and watch my house transform! I will preface my review by saying that we had absolutely no complaints or concerns about the ceiling work, sheet rocking, the installation of the laminate flooring and backsplash tile. Here's how it went: In the beginning: After we decided to go with Executive, they emailed the contract for us to review. The copy was illegible in places so we requested a cleaner copy. The one they sent was a bit better, but in retrospect I should've taken that as a sign of what to expect in the way of quality, going forward. We met with the Project Manager the 2nd week in Nov., 2016. We ultimately signed the contract even though we were told that they were very busy and probably wouldn't be able to get started for a couple of weeks. Fine. We understood - it was the holiday season... Synopsis: Dumpster delivered on March 17 - lived in our driveway well into June. Kitchen demolition began on March 20 (more than 4 months from our first meeting). Plastic was not put up to control dust, which they said they would do. Insulation: The wet insulation was removed in November. When the replacement insulation was to be installed, they did not use the insulation that was agreed upon, nor was it complete or installed correctly. Their response was that it was just 'temporary' until the actual insulation could be installed. (This, after a couple of winter months with none?) My husband went and bought the correct product and installed it himself. Sub-flooring installation: Sent a rookie kid who brought his friend (a.k.a. stranger allowed in our house); asked to borrow some tools, ran out of screws, so he nailed the last section. Unacceptable. Painter spray paints the walls (fine) but also over the wainscoting (not fine). Executive's response was 'that's how we do it - we go back and repaint it'. That is not standard procedure in the industry. The paint that was used was a different brand from what was specified on the agreement. (The color was pretty much a match though - we love the color). Following are some of the notes I kept: Note dated 4/12/17 (5 months in): sheet rockers should be here on 4/13 and 4/14 and finish up on 4/17. Goal: job done first part of May. Sheet rockers did a very nice job. Sink cabinet installed off-center from the kitchen window requiring correction. Promised (at least twice) that "materials were being ordered 'tomorrow' and should be ready for installation in a 'couple weeks." (Cabinets, countertop, flooring). Note dated 5/12/17 (6 months in): Countertops will be ordered first part of next week, then will be 2 weeks until installed; checking on the status of the upper cabinets and laminate flooring. Backsplash tile installed on June 13 - beautiful job. The last check was paid on July 12, 2017 for a total of eight months. (Women have created new life in less time!) Executive will tell you that we were 'nitpicking'. I don't know of anyone who would consider our concerns 'nitpicking' (and that term is found in more than one document you will receive from them, including the contract itself). If my husband were not familiar with building / remodeling standards, I shudder to think of the issues that would have gone unnoticed. We were very patient and understanding for the first FOUR MONTHS. It wasn't until our patience had been tried and we began to see their 'work' in action, that we became 'not so nice' anymore. I am quite sure that they were as happy to be done with us as we were with them. Do I love my kitchen? Yes. Yes I do. But if we had not 'nitpicked', I doubt I'd be saying that today. Bottom line, is I would not recommend this company.

The work turned out great! Everyone that came to work at the house was professional and through. Mike was great to work with during the entire project and was responsive to all of my communications. Mike had great ideas on what to do but he also did a great job at listening to what I wanted. Overall the project came in very close to budget and turned out much better than expected. I would highly recommend using Executive Exteriors!

Brad would stop by to check on the progress to ensure the job was getting done in a timely manner.  The crew did an excellent job and our home looks beautiful.  I would recommend Executive Exteriors & Remodeling to anyone!

Responsive, realistic, and reliable.  Executive Exteriors was great!  We me with several contractors and selected Executive Exteriors because of the strong Project Management they offered, as outlined during the initial meeting, which would give us peace of mind.  Not only were they responsive every step of the way, but they?d go above and beyond ? even came in right on budget and finished earlier than projected! 

They took our vision and made it into the modern kitchen we never thought was possible ? and the process was painless.  We were provided a full layout design prior to beginning, which was flawless and on point, all while keeping our budget in
mind and keeping to a realistic timeline.  Mike is the man? he?s experienced enough to provide insight and ideas that
we didn?t even know was possible ? he even showed me how to do a few hands-on pieces myself.  That?s just the type of
business they run out there.  Top of the line.

We are amazed with the outcome and are enjoying the endless compliments we?re receiving from our friends and family!

Brad Harmon, our salesperson, came out to examine our wood roof after a hail storm.  He was convinced that it should be replaced, even when our insurance adjuster had already told us they wouldn't cover it.  Brad had great follow through and persistence.  He met with the adjuster two other times, coming to our home to be able to talk to the adjuster.  Brad was able to show the adjuster areas of damage that he had missed, and we were approved for a new roof.  I talked to Brad about my options for a replacement roof and he brought up the idea of metal.  I had always thought of a metal roof as the smooth roof like what you'd see on a barn.  How things have changed!  Brad brought samples to our house and came back a couple more times until my wife and I found exactly what we were looking for.  He was very patient and helpful.  Brad again was onsite when the crew showed up to tear off our cedar shakes.  They did a great job of cleaning up after themselves and installed the new metal roof.  Everything looks fantastic and I'm excited about not having to spend another penny on the roof for 50 years, vs. having to waterproof cedar shakes every 2-3 years for $1500-2000.  I would  highly recommend Brad and the Executive Exteriors team!

Executive was great from start to finish. Brad, our contact, was attentive and friendly throughout. He worked with my insurance company and made all paperwork smooth and painless.

The crew arrived bright and early Saturday morning and completed the entire job before dark. The crew took the time to move any items out of harms way (ie: grill, patio furniture, etc.) and did a great job cleaning up. The new roof is a huge improvement to my houses appearance and value.

I would recommend Brad and Executive to anyone!
