David was extremely responsive over the phone. Every contact with him was very professional and was more than willing to talk about the abatement process. David came out and looked over the room. My only reservation about the day was that I felt he was trying to sell me more than what I wanted but he wasn't extremely pushy about it. The quote originally came in at $1250 but that was before he knew I had taken up 98% of the tile myself. He did come down $100, but I thought it would have been more since the tile removal was pretty much done. Casey actually did the work on the floor and pipe. He was VERY honest and professional. I would hire him again for anything. The floor was pretty immaculate considering the black mastic was pretty tough. Overall though, a good experience. Thank you.

Before the abatement David came over and explained the abatement process in detail. He even found us a way to save a little money. We had to reschedule and David was understanding and very patient. When the work was being done, his crew was courteous and made sure to keep our home clean during the removal by covering the floors. I came home to a house that smelled wonderful. The basement where the furnace had been was immaculate; you couldn't even tell where the furnace had once been. He provided us with a report of the air sample analysis after the work had been completed. I would work with David and his crew again in a heartbeat.

We were concerned that the chipping tile in our basement might have asbestos. It was not in good shape. We called David, who came out the next evening to take samples. He was not a hard sell. He explained that our tile, even if it did have asbestos, was essentially non-friable and posed very little danger. He took a sample of the tile and glue and had our results within a couple days- at no charge. He was very knowledgeable. We will probably hire him within the year to remove the tiles and glue since they did contain asbestos, when we can arrange to have some other work done (such as reflooring) shortly after.

Dave was very responsive and came out the next day. He had someone there to do the work days later. They were honest and Dave came over and took samples to be tested for me to make sure there was no asbestos on the floor. There wasn't any and we were relieved. We thought he went out of his way to put our minds at ease.

It was an ABSOLUTE pleasure to work with David and his crew at Environmental Solutions. David did the estimate and explained the exact process very clearly. He suggested that I call the MN Dept of Health to get more information and to inquire about his inspection record (which I did- they were very helpful). His record was perfect. The crew arrived on time and David himself was at the house a couple times during the day. The crew was friendly, respectful and even invited me downstairs to take a tour before they started the actual abatement. Here again they explained: How the HEPA filter worked, how they sealed everything off, how the air sampling machine worked, etc. Paperwork was all posted (as by law) and copies were given to me as well. Overall, a company with very personable and professional service. Their true desire to do a good job to satisfy the customer and to make the customer comfortable (given the health risks of such work) was definitely apparent. A+ !
