$761 to diagnose and repair ONE outlet. Need I say more? Would not recommend these crooks. When I complained to Brent, he told me to write a letter. So, I wrote one to him detailing how he ripped my family off. I sent the letter certified and he refused to sign for it. Never received a response. Even though this was years ago, I'm still p*****.  The person he sent was a complete con artist.

Brent arrived on schedule. He diagnosed the problem I was having and provided a firm price for the job. We also told him about a light switch that wasn't working - he said if the main job (fixing the wiring for a ceiling lamp) didn't take too long for him to complete he would look at the wall switch at no charge. After fixing the ceilijng lamp, he took care of the wall switch, only charging us for the switch. He also mentioned that our circuit breakers were not completely up to code, and we asked him to complete that job as well. Overall, a positive experience.

I tried one local company and they were very bad about returning my phone calls so I called Electric Today and they were ready to come out that night! I told them that the next morning would work better and they came out bright and early Friday morning. He checked out the situation and showed me what he was going to do, and pulled out his price list. I was shocked at the cost obviously, but it was well worth it because he sure had his work cut out for him. He was very professional, answered all my questions, and did the job well. He made sure to do a good job on the flashing and replace the shingles on the roof. It took him all day in 90 degree heat (and a trip to home depot) to get the job done. When it was time to do the last pull to put the mast into a strait position the heat had taken his toll and he decided to stay on the safe side and come back early the next morning when he would have more strength. He did a great job!

Two guys worked quickly and neatly to do work at hand. Additional work needed to be done to run power to the air conditioner, but once they started work on what they came to do, they wouldn't even talk about it. I've never heard of contractors turning down money before. Work was very well done, but VERY expensive. I will not be using them again unless I need work done RIGHT NOW.

I CALLED ON MONDAY AND THEY WERE ABLE TO COME ON TUESDAY BECAUSE I WAS CLOSING ON MY HOUSE THE NEXT DAY AND THE INSPECTOR WAS COMING. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THEIR RESPONSIVENESS. THEY HAD A UNIQUE ''MENU'' APPROACH TO PRICING, WHICH I SUPPOSE IN SOME CASES SIMPLIFIES IT FOR THE CUSTOMER AND TAKES THE OWNESS OFF THE SERVICEMAN. I FELT IT DIDN'T WORK IN MY CASE BECAUSE MY DOORBELL ENDED UP BEING A 2 MINUTE FIX YET I WAS CHARGED $197 BECAUSE THAT WAS THE MENU PRICING FOR ''FIXING DOORBELL''. REPLACING THE PLUG IN THE OUTLET TOOK ANOTHER FEW MINUTES, BUT COST $99 BECAUSE THAT WAS THE MENU PRICING FOR ''FIXING OUTLET''. THERE WAS ALSO A TRIP CHARGE OF $59, WHICH I UNDERSTAND, BUT MANY PROVIDERS SUBTRACT IT FROM THE COST OF WORK AND THEY DIDN'T. OVERALL A POOR VALUE. EVEN THE GUY THAT DID THE WORK SEEMED TO FEEL GUILTY.
