"Hi Ronda, I am disappointed to hear that you were unhappy with my services! Being a very small company, I strive to go above and beyond with my customers. To address some of your concerns - after the test results came back, we had a conversation about what the issues were and how to address them. Using non-invasive inspection work, I remember finding what created an active leak in your basement ceiling that had no apparent water source nearby. My company uses industrial, industry specific equipment and I am a Certified Mold Inspector (many people are NOT certified, as it is not required in MN). I pride myself on my continuing education in the field, and being a Building Biologist in addition to a mold inspector, plus superior customer service. I'm a bit perplexed as to why you are unhappy that we found the problem, even if that is what you thought it was before I did the inspection. As I previously discussed with you, the samples were taken right next to the windows and that is where the mold was coming from. Some of the next steps, as I mentioned over the phone, would be to possibly do a VOC test, but better yet, open the walls under the windows to see what is going on and also replacing the windows. I never do destructive testing, but could certainly take a sample of your wall cavity if you are willing to cut it open. No non-invasive equipment can penetrate all the way through a wall cavity, nor is there equipment to 'see' inside a wall like an x-ray. Even the best equipment has it's limitations, which is why I do so many types of tests when I am in a house. If you are unsure what your next step(s) should be, I sincerely hope you will call me! I would be MORE than happy to go over things with you again!!! ;-) Shaylee"
